Dont see many 36 year old CB's in the Prem. It's a no from me.

People sometimes see marquee name and free transfer and it skews the mental formula they apply to the value of a deal.Sorry but how is this anything other than an absolute no? Genuinely shouldn't even be considering it.
I doubt we are.Sorry but how is this anything other than an absolute no? Genuinely shouldn't even be considering it.
Why? Remember how effective Naybet was? Some times spending a bit on experience and leadership can be useful.Sorry but how is this anything other than an absolute no? Genuinely shouldn't even be considering it.
Yeah we already have Toby in the experienced, slow CB category.
Would rather sign Dias and give Tanganga more chances, although aware that probably won't be possible re covid.
Can't remember what game it was, but last time I saw Vertonghen play he looked loads better than he has recently. There was some sort of fitness issue at the start of the season when Poch left him out so maybe he's only recently got over that.
I get your point about Silva being both old and a risk, but I’m not sure I follow your suggestion of Fernandinho. We’ve no idea how he will cope in the fast paced EPL and for that reason it has to be a no. If we’re wanting an experienced versatile player then we should be enquiring about Fernandinho and City, he’s 35, 1 year left on his contract and he can play both CB and DM. Unlike Silva he’s played in the EPL for years and can still perform week in week out.
