I think we’ll suffer badly for a year or two. It’s not just Kane’s on pitch skills that we’d miss, but the whole club has been built round him since 2016. The dressing room morale will be low after he goes. It’ll be painful.

That said, hopefully we can return to being a pressing team, Richy and Deki could be great in this kind of style s they’re both workahilics. Sign a LW to replace Son who can take people on and create, and find a genuine creative AM to pull the strings in midfield. If West Ham do go down I’d consider Pacqueta. Think he’s been wasted on Moyes.

Have you been watching us mess about in the market over the last 15 or 20 years. We have a history of going from berbatov to Pavlyuchenko, Carrick to Zokora and Walker to Aurier
I literally say the way for the club to he successful after Kane is to move beyond the current confusion and have a clear plan.

Call me crazy but more I read this topic the more I start to like the idea of Kane leaving.

I think we need to clear out the ENTIRE cl-final team. Like THE rebuild not just a small one.

Deki, Richi, Pape, Benta, Romero, Udogie, maybe Gill as a new core.

I think when Kane leaves we need a new manager too. Ideally I would like Conte to stay a while and Kane to renew so we can win titles. We need more players on Kanes level. However if Kane leaves it would be best to have a new manager and a fresh start all round (and likely that happens anyway). Then it's a question of what system that manager implements. The issue replacing Kane is you need a 9 and a 10. We have Richarlison for the 9, maybe Kulusevski becomes the 10 but we then also need another of each. Maddison seems an obvious choice as another 10 with a year left in the summer and homegrown. Some of the Serie A options are more likely what Conte would want. A proper bully of a forward could work well though.

Thing is there is life after every legend so I'm not concerned. I'll enjoy him while he's here and can't wait for him to become our record scorer. We've had his best years too although I think he'll still be great for some years too.

Really? Maybe it will give others a chance to shine !

I think we should get the Vlahovic hype train back up and running tbh, why bloody not.

I know he’s got that betting ban hanging over him but I’d go for Ivan Toney as his replacement. He’s got it all and is a goal machine.

I think Spurs will be a better team overall once Kane leaves.

It is very predictable how we play with him, the top sides can stop it but the lesser sides dont quite have the quality. This is reflected in our results and Harrys. To win the big games and trophies, you either need a team full of world class players or have a team that is full of energy and pressing and that doesnt rely on 1 or 2 players to score all the goals.

He has been an incredible servant but we badly need a new way of playing. I just hope we dont get another big lad up top that doesnt press when he eventually leaves.

There are actually pros and cons to Harry leaving.

More cons because he’s one of the best players ever ever had but we might become a more well rounded team without him, that or we will become toothless ???? sign a new deal Harry! ?

I think in depends who we get in. Say danjuma really plays well sign him fully.
If we sell Kane for big money and can sign leao and or Osimhen and move to more of a high press fast front game I actually think we could be a different beast

Clubs move on after any player leaves. Of course for certain players it can take longer to get used to and find a replacement etc., but in the case of Kane I think we already have someone in place in Richarlison.
