Fairly critical point that so many miss.

Haha yeah I was being sarcastic. All about patience with this deal, Roma are losing their best player just like we are (and look how long that has taken RM to sort out, and they are the biggest club in the world)

Well, what goes up, must come down, and down, and down. Everyone looks ill at the end of the night. All lost the power of speech, desperately avoiding eye contact. Chiriches ITK has lightened my mood somewhat, my work colleagues feared for my safety after the Willian fiasco - quite clearly Kia Jobsworth was tapping up the Chavs the entire time..

Lamela, all we can do is wait and hope the slight glitch Jasper mentioned is not another club, maybe Roma have upped his price a touch, which is all still workable..

Hope BAE passes his medical, sad to see him go but things change and move on..

I think next week could be very very busy transfer wise..

Christian eriksen just seems a no brainier for me. Should be around 10m from most of what I have read and for a 21 year old with 37 caps and 4 years of CL football I couldn't see him dropping below that value after a year of PL football as well.

he'd have been my #1 target this summer along with bernard and benteke. it baffles me how he's still available.

Please dont accuse us of being any slower than anyone else. We just take a keen interest in what is happening at spurs from the early stage. Unless you can tell me you are following all transfer dealings with ITK knowledge at every club?

Indeed. In a short period of time we've become quite spoilt it would seem.

What we may be seeing here is a glimpse of fan behaviour should we catapult ourselves into the big league and become a super rich/powerful club. Not pretty. I don't think entitlement would suit us.

Tbh we've had a fantastic window already, up to this point - it's actually been ground-breaking as well as record breaking as we've done early work for once.

I'm made-up at what's happening. Even if we don't get our primary targets I'm totally confident we've got very good 'b' options who would still be upgrades we need to take us towards the CL and above.

JL + DL + AVBaldini = we're gonna be ok, kids.

AVB would though. That's the rub. He doesn't want him in the team. He's a wildcard and AVB doesn't like those at all.

I'm happy enough as it is, really. Last year we had so many chances created where the problem was the player on the end of them (Adebayor, Defoe, Dempsey) and less the creators. I think we've solved the main issues with the squad. I have complete faith in our transfer team.

i will confess to not seeing enough of him so my previous hesitancy over him is problem based on hearing others say he is over rated

Willian was an opportunistic signing as we would never have thought he would have been available. Very gutted we were so close but that's football

We are really 3 first team players away. I still expect Coentrao as part of the Bale deal and think we can get Lamela. That just leaves a left forward who will create for Bobby

I can't wait till all the speculation of who is coming, and who should is over, who we get in is beyond our control. All I want to see is the official announcement on who has joined us because they wanted to be part of what we are building.

We saw what those Chav scum did this week ( seem to remember they have history, they have stolen players from us just to stop us getting them, never played them and ruined their career. where are they now?).

Nothing is certain till it's done.

Swansea is the most important thing now and getting behind the team we have out on the pitch, and trusting AVB to get it right.

For what its worth I thought Moriniho came across as classless and rather childish giggling with the journalists, it was all rather pathetic.
