Just a general question... Does any other club have the kind of "ITK" culture we have? Or is it just THFC?

Also after the Willian debacle surely there is no such thing as truly ITK. Not a criticism in any way I think these days football is a murky world and things change so quickly.

We had our so called top ITK state that SSN were talking crap but as it turns out they were spot on.

Is ITK dead?

Many many boards have similar type threads. Search ITK & Forum and also try a club name. Stoke in particular has some very good ITK's it's just the subject matter ius a little less interesting. And of course some Forums protect their ITKs and some don't. You will find that the ones that do not protect them are the ones with the least amount of ITK.

Then of course youhave the ones that whore ITK from other sites.

Find one you like, and believe what you want.

Like who? I've not seen a deal this summer that has gone through that quickly. Even shitty took a bit of time to sign, seal and deliver their players.

Because you are on here watching them unfold. It's like sitting there and watching paint dry.

Our deals don't take any longer than any other club it's just that we don't seek out ITK on what they are doing so we only find out from the mainstream media, who are usually late to the party.

It's easy, We are NO different to Normal clubs that have a budget. The deal has to be negotiated with the selling club and then the player and agent. The only difference is that you are not aware of the deals dragging along at other clubs as you do not frequent those forums.

Clubs like Chelsea/City do not worry about budgets hence less time spent negotiating.

meanwhile a reporter called Fabrizio Romano from SkySport24 in Italy says this is normal and not to worry because the deal will be finalised on Monday.

He is also telling people that it's likely Lamela won't play.

Maybe the reason he wont sign until Monday is because Roma haven't had a chance to buy a replacement yet and therefore need him for this weekend's squad.

The selling club hold all the cards here, and they will decide a time for the the transfer to happen that suits them - much like we seem to be doing with one of our own.

Christian eriksen just seems a no brainier for me. Should be around 10m from most of what I have read and for a 21 year old with 37 caps and 4 years of CL football I couldn't see him dropping below that value after a year of PL football as well.

No, they don't. You hear about all the nuances of Spurs transfers because you come here and suckle on the ITK teat. No multi million euro, cross jurisdiction deal is done in the same day.

This. He ticks all the boxes imo. Massively talented player who could flourish for us. Would be gutted if he doesn't sign for us. I somehat can accept us losing out on 30M players a la Moutinho or William - as painful as it is, but us failing to land guys like Coutinho for instance at reasonable price hurts even more. Eriksen is available for 12-15M euros. Bargain.
