Was a response to a comment about Eriksen - ITK in on him
I seem to remember seeing an AVB comment about 22 players (as well as Mourinho's) but could be wrong.

So A & C is ITK right, or ITK in that he's the ITK PR guru ? So when he says Announcements or Willian, thats actually on the whole been a pretty accurate statement of the themes of the day. So can we talk about Announcements as a general theme.

The only thing im sure of that you can definately write about in the ITK thread is getting a bj from the girlfriend, or commenting on Hot_Spurs removing clothing if we sign various players.... Thats in the main why Im upset about willian

JJ has said RM haven't offered what we've asked. Until they do I don't believe the one who's name cannot be spoken will be going anywhere. DL ain't nobodies bitch certainly not after getting screwed over in the past.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Just got a bad feeling about this deal....just like the modric saga

I know some people are on the fence with Eriksen but I think he's a fantastic player with huge potential. He's started this season on fire! Really hope this happens.

I'd swap him for siggy 100%

If you'd asked me before this Willian shenanigans who'd I'd have taken in the attacking cm role it would have been erikson. Still is. He and Lamela makes us terrifying. Add a left back. Shut the door.

Eriksen I think I would be happy with. Along with Lamela, that's a massive boost to our creativity in the top third of the pitch. Could end up like a Modric figure for us I think.

After the disappointment of Willian, if these two pieces of ITK come off, along with the supposed signing of Vlad, I think I'd be pretty happy with our lot, even with Bale gone.

Anything else is a massive bonus.

Eriksen turned down Leverkusen, as he was prepared to stay at Ajax until a CL team came in for him. I'd be surprised if he has changed his mind, so could well be Arsenal.

He also gave a newspaper interview saying how good we were and that Vertonghen had told him a lot of positive stuff about us.

Update 345. People were so busy telling the world how we'd be better of playing 4-3-3 or whatever yesterday and offering up the names of players that have done well for them on Football Manager as potential targets that we're only now turning toward the eyeteekay.

Todays is ITK day chaps and chapesses. No weeeshlists and the formation talk can lead to a maternal visit.

Incidentally, Eriksen is not an inside left creative forward like willian. I think we need a player who plays in that role looking at the system AVB is going to play. Hoping for ITK soon.

I think he's exactly that, however he's not a left winger and Willian is also a very good left winger even if he prefers to drift in from the left and play more centrally in the final third. On the other hand Eriksen looks like he's becoming quite a decent goalscorer whereas Willian doesn't score many

The combined with the Goat info about the fella who is probably his agent could, just could, be interpreted as good news.

Now, I appreciate he hasn't got a disco hairstyle and is a centre back rather than a flair forward but in this era of misery and self flagellation it would probably be a good idea to ACTUALLY LOOK AT THE GOOD THINGS THAT SEEM TO BE HAPPENING rather than spend the whole day crying like babies because Willian spent the night getting violently 'incorporated' into the Chelsea set-up and Lamela hasn't signed.

I think there is a suicide Tuesday feel about for most chaps, maybe an obscure film reference that relates to some dubious un-GOAT-worthy dubious ITK would cheer the place up.

Wasn't there talk a week or so back how we knew what it would cost for Eriksen and Alderweireld, they were a plan b in the background if we didn't get our primary targets.
The Eriksen deal is typical of Levy in the past, highly rated, young, last year of contract. This summer Levy has obviously worked differently.
Over the past week, we have had Nedelev also strongly linked, so see what happens there. Left footed, so not strictly plan b for Willian, but still plays AM, LW, RF.
Suppose we'll just have to wait, but the positive thing is the club are obviously prepared to spend the cash necessary, and in Baldini they have a man capable of doing the job. Very promising.
The other thing to note, Willian still has not been announced to Chelsea. We were as confident he was ours as they now seem he's theirs. (Probably will, but) Fat lady has not sung yet.

As long as AVB has given the nod on Eriksen, nothing worse than us panic buying players that won't fit in with his plans..

Chiriches ITK has lightened my mood somewhat, my work colleagues feared for my safety after the Willian fiasco - quite clearly Kia Jobsworth was tapping up the Chavs the entire time..

Lamela, all we can do is wait and hope the slight glitch Jasper mentioned is not another club, maybe Roma have upped his price a touch, which is all still workable..

Hope BAE passes his medical, sad to see him go but things change and move on..

I think next week could be very very busy transfer wise..
