The worry that i have on Real Madrid stumping up the cash (IF they did) is what that potentially means down the road.
Plenty of rumours that CR7 wants to go back to Man United (which might just be contract negotiation bluffing with Real), but the last thing i want is to indirectly strengthen a rival who are at their potential weakest they have been for decades.

I know we cant influence Ronaldo to Man United, but we can likely delay it by not selling Bale to Real.

Losing Bale and Man united possibly getting CR7 is a catastrophe, especially as alas i fear us being able to get the players in we need to adequately replace Bale without the allure of CL. Yes we got Soldado, but for every 1 Soldado, there are 500 others not interested in Spurs.

I finally understood what this daily ITK thread is analogous to!

It's like monitoring the stock market, volatile and super sensitive to news, some days u end up winning, some losing.

For some, it's their livelihood and they know how to navigate and "all in a day's work"

For the man on the street retail investor, it's so easy to be caught in the whole maelstrom and get sucked it, day after day, losing focus on your real day job, your family and friends and your purpose in life.

It's like the proverbial yo-yo on an escalator.

Spurs is on the up! Ignore the daily #fluctuations, in news and emotions.

Go get a life, come back 3rd sept.

I disagree mate, I think he's just been told to keep his mouth shut. So that nothing he says gets taken out of context. I am confident he's staying! Looking forward to watching us play this season. I'm itching for the first home game of the season already :)

Lets get some more players in today and annoy the dirty gooner scum some more :)
Agreed. I was on the tube yesterday and an obvious gooner was reading the Metro, turned to the 'spurs sign Soldier page' and stuck his middle finger up at it! Made my day. Bitter whiney gooner scum having a hissy fit

Sorry by hap hazard I meant we started off with a plan and it is all going to jelly. Reminds me scarily of the ramos era where the plan is not being followed.

ask anyone at the club and they will tell you huds parker, benny and ade are on the transfer list. Then players that are not designed to leave, leave. Dempsey was told three weeks ago he is intergral to the us market, dawkins is given a new contract but it seems he is not wanted.

The loan system and subsequent youth systems are disjointed. Players like fryers and vigaroux who have shown little promise travel with the first team to try and "get their confidence up" nothing to do with any good performances.

I am.not one to be negative but as with last year we are not all rosey off the pitch. That being said we have a rollecoaster few weeks ahead so lets see what it brings :)

I'm assuming that we didn't really expect Cardiff to come in with a decent fee and didn't know that Caulker would accept the move? It could be the same with Dempsey...some of these footballers want to play every game so I don't blame them for moving on if they feel they have a good opportunity elsewhere!

Ideally we do need to shift those transfer listed players (id keep ade if he stepped up but I guess his wages could he offset else where) but if some are very keen to stay and fight for their place then brilliant. Proper competition is needed at the club!

Were putting together a great team so I think this season will be a good one for us once the window shuts and we can concerntrate on the actual football.

Bale will either travel with the squad and play, prompting an article from Marca on how Bale wants to play one last game for Spurs, or he wont, prompting an article from Marca saying that its because he's Madrid headed.

You know it makes sense.

Please stop calling him CR7, it makes him and you seem like a total bell.

I honestly want to sign Carlton for comedy value.

His 30 yard volley against us followed by pinpoint through ball to Defoe from the halfway line to assist the equaliser is still one of my favourite performances ever.

I think (and hope) that CR7 has no interest in playing for Moyes at the minute.

I remember that clear as day, I thought to myself wow what a fucking pass that was!

Don't like the sound is disarray of the pitch. We need to move these players on or we never will as they won't play much season and their value will deteriorate even more

This is why the club are correct in saying nothing. No matter what events will be twisted

It's already resolved, he isn't going this summer. Next summer maybe. We are looking to challenge for the title this year, can't do that if you sell Bale, Levy, AVB and Lewis know this.

Fuck me, you're positive! I hope you're right. If he doesn't play against Monaco, the speculation will go into overdrive. We need to nip this in the bud!
