On a different note hearing we arnt out of the race for a certain brazilian either ;)
of course this is Bernard - we're not in the race for other Brazilians - Leandro is a snail paced jog

i feel the chadli signing would be a little unnecessary in terms of quality
He scored 16 goals last season! Hes quick, strong, tall and quite creative! I see him as an upgrade on lennon because he scores more goals. I would rather Bernard because i think he can be a real star providing he settles and hes not to lightweight for the league!

Grey fox did mention about a couple of departures too this week. Perhaps club waiting to see how that pans out and if they get money try want will push harder for Bernard with Chadli B option should we not shift deadwood.

Hehehe....You used "push harder" and "dead wood" in the same sentence.

Yes still talking about hazard .

BC you underestimate H's influence in football circles. He is completely bonkers as a person but so like able as a manager and really looks after the players.

I absolutely understand the charismatic effect Redknapp has on many, and I'm sure at least two chairman are ruing it IMO - their fault though.

I'm sure to know him is to love him for some. Especially a media who need feeding.

But lets not overstate this influence JJ. It didn't exactly do his job prospects with us much good did it, and the offers didn't come flooding in from teams in the higher echelons of football when he was given the tin tack.

What is he influencing exactly ?

he plays for twente tho right? kuyt, kezman, alfonso alves........all scored lots of goals. Really doesn't mean a lot when they get to a higher league. Im not saying hes poor just seems like not much of an upgrade... i actually prefer lennon from what ive seen.

Kuyt did quite well considering he was played wide right alot at Liverpool. Alves and Kezman were flops granted but theres always a risk bringing a player from another league. Vertonghens done alright though ;)

Is there really some sort of possibility that we could land Bernard and Benteke? I mean, c'mon. That's crazy. Our attack would be so incredibly unique to pair with our enforcing midfield and our solid defense.

Bernard's agent has harped on about us not meeting his fee....Adam Suter has hinted that Chadli is plan B, most likely for Bernard. Chadli is much more likely to sign.

I wasnt talking about hazard lol!

Yer from what i have heard all his staff liked him alot, and he was always there helping people in the game. Example is now Steve Mclaren at QPR. He is helping him back into the english game so he can get a job elsewhere.
He's setting Mclaren up to take his job when they're middle of the table in the Championship this season

If this happened i'd have to buy my dad some Tena men as he'd explode with joy! (He doesn't get laid)

Maybe that's what has been sold to Lewis and he will dig deep to make it happen like he was going to with Hazard. If Sandro & Kaboul come back with no problems, we could challenge IMO.

But we know what we are going to get from Lennon, 3-4 goals and maybe 7-8 assists, that's your lot. Also he may break down with his niggling injuries and have to rediscover his form again. If this guy Chadli can show his scoring power in the PL, we could have vastly improved the output from the side, especially as Bale will play from the right if we go 433.

Hes not that bad lol Besides you'd of taken him just to get Cavani! I really want bernard but at the same time I do want Chadli aswell!
I had so much hope for him when he went to Wolfsburg. I wonder why he never lived up....too much hype? laziness? covered by better players early?

Be interesting to find out what good tacticians thought.

nice to hear about Benard, really makes a statement about our ambition even if it doesn't come off
