They do seem to try and influence perception by what they replay and how and the commentators reaction to it. I don’t know if that is fed through VAR. But when you watch Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd in particular they really super analyse anything that could go for them.

I don’t really buy into some people’s narrative that it’s our own fault for not getting a second. We won the game 1-0, were in total control and were robbed by the stupidity of a ridiculous rule. It’s a cliche to say we were robbed but we actually were there.

I'm normally one of those people. I mean we should have scored more and that would have given us a cushion. But we didn't concede a single real chance in the game, there was no fault in the players in conceding that goal, was just pure randomness.
