The fucking freekick prior to it was a travesty, fucking fuck anybody who claims the ref is following the rules and not his fault, he's a fucking moron.

What a joke. They have ruined the sport.

Everytime I calm down a bit someone peels back another layer of disgrace.

Doesn't matter. Still a hand. Consistency.

You don't understand the rule then. The pen was given, rightly or wrongly, because Diers arm was up in an alleged unnatural position.

not saying I think it was a pen, I'm appaled by it, but that is the difference

Well, as others have said, we should've put the game to bed in the first half. Kane's passing is way better than his shooting just now.

Rolls Royce cameo from Ndombele. Sumptuous.

Joke of a penalty but a better team wins that game. Still, looks like we’re going in the right direction, so definitely a positive game for us.

It’s definitely not on Dier today but that was the 2nd close call with him today. Plus, its getting to a point with him that you can always count on a few of these close calls every game. He’s a bit of a disaster at the back.

Get a grip, he played well today, apart from his header miss in the 1st half. You try jumping without using your arms.

Fuck that. He's not great but to use this situation as a reason to further this narrative is so idiotic. You know that, too.

Eh? He had a solid game and was given a decision against him which was ludicrous and he could do NOTHING about it.

how can you blame the broadcaster. That’s weird.
They do seem to try and influence perception by what they replay and how and the commentators reaction to it. I don’t know if that is fed through VAR. But when you watch Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd in particular they really super analyse anything that could go for them.

I don’t really buy into some people’s narrative that it’s our own fault for not getting a second. We won the game 1-0, were in total control and were robbed by the stupidity of a ridiculous rule. It’s a cliche to say we were robbed but we actually were there.
I'm normally one of those people. I mean we should have scored more and that would have given us a cushion. But we didn't concede a single real chance in the game, there was no fault in the players in conceding that goal, was just pure randomness. Which is what happens when you take out interpretation out of the laws.

Mourinho very calm to be fair to him

We have to use this experience to be more clinical
We’ve had 2 in 2 weeks, last week it didn’t cost us points, this week it did.

Jose is wise enough to realise that over the course of the season every club in the league will be feeling the sharp edge of this shitty sword, probably quite a few times.

Newcastle have had 0 attempts on target in their last 3 games then this happens. Unbelievable
