Sky, BT et al aren’t remotely responsible for this mess but in the current climate - with crowds at games not possible - they are football’s paymasters and that’s the only way the lawmakers will be influenced. Either fans start cancelling subscriptions or nothing changes imo

Son has had several goals chalked off when the call was at least as close as that for the offside. Two penalties given against us this season already, neither of which should have been a penalty.

I will not be spending anything on football until the rule is fixed. Fuck this game, seriously fuck it.

It's hard to put it in words how much of a travesty that is. Like there's not just the one decision, it's like five different awful decisions given the context.

how can you blame the broadcaster. That’s weird.
I'm not sure he's blaming the broadcaster but just finding a way to ease his sense of injustice. £50 a month is a fair amount of money to spend when incorrect decisions such as these make you feel someone is robbing you of it.

My minds abit hazey due to the anger of this ridiculous law.

But what examples of poor finishes did we have today?

Diers obviously. Lo Celso central to goal with weak shot. What others?

However annoying, unfair, and ludicrous the hand ball law is that has made us drop points today at least it wasn’t a case that we drew due to defensive mistakes, yes i know we didn’t take our chances but we can be happy with the performance today and how improproved the defensive is, we’ll have our own lucky VAR decision in the future and i think that today’s performance is a sign of good things to come, despite hoe painful the end was COYS

As much as this sucks and as annoying as it was we didn't make more of our chances. That was genuinely the most i've enjoyed watching us for a while.

Good Balance to the team, way more movement than the static team i've been used to and i really think Doherty could be a weapon when the team understands how he plays. Though PEH was excellent and Winks was better today (much more energy and quicker passing).

This is without Bale, Reguilon and a potential big upgrade at CB. Finally starting to see the team take shape and i like what i saw.

Yes super annoying and every point is vital to get top 4 this year. But i'd love a cup and to really push on next year in the league.

I don’t really buy into some people’s narrative that it’s our own fault for not getting a second. We won the game 1-0, were in total control and were robbed by the stupidity of a ridiculous rule. It’s a cliche to say we were robbed but we actually were there.

Again, I’ve not seen anyone say it’s our own fault. The point is that we could’ve got a second, which would’ve protected us against the risk of a shit decision, but we didn’t. That doesn’t make the penalty our fault, but you’d have to be a clown to think there’s no risk of a bad decision ever coming against you.

This new handball rule is so frustrating ! ?

The fans should just boycott the games and stay away from the stadiums.

oh wait...

I agree we could've eliminated the risk but it shouldn't be our responsibility to protect ourselves against ridiculous decisions. Very frustrating we didn't do more but I can't blame the team
The reason you finish games off is to guarantee the win. No team will become successful if they blame decisions for dropping points even if the criticism is valid. We have to take some responsibility for not getting the 3 points today.

It’s definitely not on Dier today but that was the 2nd close call with him today. Plus, its getting to a point with him that you can always count on a few of these close calls every game. He’s a bit of a disaster at the back.
That isn't his fault lol. His arms were exactly where a persons arm always go when you jump. It doesn't matter who is in there as we see from decisions in other games

The fucking freekick prior to it was a travesty, fucking fuck anybody who claims the ref is following the rules and not his fault, he's a fucking moron.

What a joke. They have ruined the sport.

Like, what else can you do but feel like we were absolutely fucked over?
