Half of your post could have been written when Soldado was here. I don't doubt Janssen's effort, work rate and attitude but like a Man Ure team without Zlatan, we are toothless up front in terms of the main striker.
The poster is not slagging off his performance today, but reflecting on his overall game this season. All new players take time to settle in, Lamela, Son, Wanyama, Eriksen, to name a few but all have shown during that learning curve some glimpses of why they were signed.
I have seen not one thing from Janssen so far that would even suggest even to the most avid Spurs fan that he will come good. In fact he appears to me to be a carbon copy of Soldado who for my money was more effective.
Janssen is more physical and better suited to the English game than soldado
