Not surprising, mate. Once you see oxygen being given, hosp. is usually on the cards.
Still sucks cock though. He's gonna be gutted and we'll miss him.
Theres a weird sectioned off bit in the away end for officials and players of both teams which had barely anyone in it. Wimmer was sat there and so did Wanyama second halfAway end doesn't look full?

I wrote that a few weeks ago regarding Janssen, he needs to "feel" the defender at his back as he's being pressed, then roll off in the opposite direction to get a shot off.I think you've overstated a couple of times there, but broadly I agree. Nothing you wrote contradicts anything I wrote - if you read my post carefully, instead of concluding that it was primarily about Sissoko. It wasn't. It was about teams winning matches and individual performances having more to them than what a player does with the ball.
The change in system was the main thing, indeed, but I have noticed something about Janssen that I think is causing quite a bit of his misery. Many people have observed that he holds the ball up very effectively. But what he has so far been unable to do, at least against Premiership defences, is to turn with the ball when he has a defender on him. His hold-up play consists of ... holding the ball up. He doesn't get his head up and lay it off to an onrushing teammate, nor does he spin with the ball at his feet and snap off a shot. Even 5'-7" Jermain Defoe can do that and Janssen is a pretty hefty unit. So it isn't a lack of strength, it's more a lack of awareness of what is around him,
Janssen did have a couple of shots on target today (a reply to another post of yours). He's had quite a few over the season that have been saved. But when he's in the box, being defended, he has so far been unable to get any advantage over his defender. All he does is to hang onto the ball ... until he loses it. He needs to have that area of his game coached heavily this off-season, if he's going to crack it in the Premiership. Turning the defender and shooting, getting his head up and making controlled lay-offs.

Watford is proper Norf sahn.Did it go on sale to members or just st holders? I really need to get to a game up north. Missed the opportunity to go to Watford.

My dad went to Luton once. He came back hating Maggie thatcher and had a greggs loyalty card.
Having looked at our next 3 games and chelscum's, anything can happen. I thinkvwe really in with a shot.
They need to lose both obviously. Then again who would have thought palace would do what they did.I agree although if Chelsea beat city and or draw with utd then I don't think it's possible as those are the most likely teams to derail Chelsea.

Still buzzing from the results yesterday and the professional job we did at Burnley. Lots would have taken a draw before the game but on reflection if Alli would have had a bit of luck we could have really walked away 4-0 from that one. We have Kane out, Rose out, two of our best players and currently two players in world football who are very highly regarded in their positions, we have Lamela out for most of the season, to be where we are, to be doing the things we are doing, it's never been a better time to be a Spurs fan. The FA Cup this year would be a dream.
Although i must admit all the mid table mediocrity i have experienced in most of my years means that its a lot more stressful these days, not sure if i'm the only one still adjusting to us being a really good team.
