Chelseas next three:

Chelsea v Man City Draw
Bournemouth v Chelsea Draw
Man Utd v Chelsea Loss

Win our next three we'll be top, it's on.
We need to win our next game as of course the Chelsea v City game will mean one of them drops points. We either can consolidate second spot or close the gap to the top and put some real pressure on the leaders

Love it when Son turns up with his randomness and flashmob style.

Opponents don't know what he is doing and sometimes he doesn't either but popping them crazy goals.. Wow

@Vincent30 Fair enough mate, don't get me wrong, nobody wants Janssen to succeed more than I do. I don't think he IS shit, I just think his performances have been... worrying. I dont like how the team plays when he is in the side. Yes, he is contributing, his hold up play is pretty good, seems to have a good shot on him. Lots of positives, but on the other side, we are fighting for the title now, we are a top team, and we have got to this position because we finally have a manager who has a pair of balls, who is ruthless with players who are affecting the quality of play, rather than progressing it. It might not be a priority for us to bring in another striker in the summer, as like you said, who would we sign? But if an exciting striker option becomes available, we both know Poch will take that option.

This place is all about opinions buddy, i just think he gets a rough time. I definitely think he needs another season as well and have been happy with his contribution. Look where we are? Look at how well we are doing? He is a part of this squad and deserves a little of the credit. Even if players aren't playing, they are pushing others to perform and pushing others in training etc.

I feel with a CB, maybe a CM, but definitely one or two AM, and a young LB. We could have something magnificent. This is very happy times to be a fan right now. Most of this lies with Poch who has done a truly remarkable job and instilled a culture that so many of us fans have wanted, because when it comes down to it, this most important part of being a fan is having players who give a fuck and give 100% for the team and finally we have that.

While we often tend to look back and picked on certain games that we dropped points and complaining those games caused us a final few positions, today I thought was a huge game that might just aid us in the final league standing.. With soooo many key injuries peppering our season already, and Rose, Kane and Lamela still out, we were even without our starting CM2 for the 2nd half, YET we still controlled the game reasonably well while winning was just no easy feat..

We were playing in Turf Moore ffs.. What was further impressive was how the team adjusted to the situations and continue to balance out the shape.. Nobody switched off now for any period of time at any moments even when we were cruising.. It has been a huge turnaround of the team's mentality and maturity this season.. With 9 games to go, I really we can push on all the way to test chelscum..

It was clear to see in the 1st half how the international break affected the players in terms of sharpness and intensity. I think these back to back games can help keep us sharp and maintain that positive morale around the squad. Especially as the likes of GKN, Sissoko etc will be needed to help pull us through this stretch of games, we need their freshness to keep us plugging away.

It's good to see reason in here, rather than the "he hasn't done it in his first 6 starts so he's shit and needs to be sold" mob that plague this board.
It will have been the same people that wanted Rose sold in his first full season, the same that wanted Lamela binned off after one season.

Whilst I don't think Janssen will command a starting berth the same way those two ended up doing, he's up against Kane after all, I do think he'll end up being an integral part of the squad in time.

Lots of people keen to jump on the "Spurs are legends" bandwagon when things take a dip, but it's in games like today that we show so much character.

International break, quite a few of the first 11 missing, difficult team to play against - all the ingredients were there for us to wilt and drop our heads - so many ready excuses.

But we didn't - all hail Poch!

just a question do you feel the same way about Sissoko as you do about Janssen

Incredibly harsh on Janssen he actually did very well today I thought. He's no Kane and isn't as good as Son as striker atm. But I'm happy with as an option, and more importantly as a young developing player. Janssen was late bloomer in the netherlands and he is still developing as a player, lets not forget that.

From memory he had zero attempts on goal, and though we changed formation and were a goal up in the second half, Son made an immediate impact.

With fifteen goals this season Son simply has to start while Harry is out, it's a no brainer, simple choice for Poch.

I think if Son hadn't been playing internationals on Wednesday night that would've been the choice.

In times past spurs teams would have come here and wilted not this team lloris hardly had anything to do.
If city can beat or draw with Chelsea then things could get very interesting indeed.

To be fair to Janssen and I haven't seen today's game. Against Southampton in the second half we had no outlet and couldn't hold the ball. Janssen when he came on at least engaged the centre backs and managed a decent effort on goal. Son is not really an out and out striker and for me struggles a bit on his own. So I could see the logic of playing the Dutchman especially in what looked a difficult game where we might come under a bit of pressure
