He's perfect for Pochetino's system and I agree with the poster who believe's his return from injury has had some part to play in our recent run of form. With him and Rose in the side we have great balance. He clearly rates quite poorly for decision making and doesn't have Lionel Messi's natural footballing ability, but he's a quality right back which is why he has a number of caps for England. Since coming back from a very serious injury he has had good and bad games but in my opinion will get better and better under Pochetino. Some competition for his position (hopefully Yedlin, Fredericks or KWP) would help him improve.
