Do we know home/away games yet?

At this rate it won't be long before someone'll pop up claiming to be ITK cos they know the brother of the bloke who installed the fixture computer.

Yes, it's just that we're keeping it a secret from you

Latest ITK rumour: Windows has crashed on the UEFA fixture computer (a 386), they've had to reboot, considering defragging the hard drive

Interesting you say that - I've long thought that this whole season's been a practical joke at my expense, and we're actually 2nd in the table having signed Torres and Ronaldinho.

We will open our UEFA Cup Group Stage campaign with a home fixture against Getafe on Thursday October 25.

This will be followed by a trip to Tel Aviv to take on Hapoel on Thursday November 8 before Match day three brings the visit of Aalborg to the Lane on Thursday November 29.

Our participation in the Group Stage concludes when we travel to Belgium for the encounter with Anderlecht on either Wednesday December 5 or Thursday December 6.

We want the toughest team at home which would be Anderlecht, Getafe are the Spanish Wigan or Reading

More like Charlton, in relation to Real and Atleti. They've been pretty disastrous since Schuster left for Real, but Sevilla had a hard time beating them in the Copa del Rey and they put out Valencia in one of the earlier rounds, so I wouldn't underestimate them. No-one fancied Osasuna or Espanyol last year, but both got through to the semis and Espanyol thrashed Werder. I think they might have been hard work in Madrid, for all that they're propping up La Liga at the moment.

Anderlecht are struggling a bit in the Jupiler League and I doubt they're that much better than Brugge—in fact on this season's performance they're worse.

Hapoel?

All in all. unless we'd got Basel, I don't think we could have asked for much better.

I 'd rather get the 2 shittest teams at home to gwet our 6 points. 6 points would be more then enough to qualify

If we go for the toughest teams at home we may not necessarily win them and we could get crappy away draws against the shittiuer teams
