Kinda shows where we are with the 'ins' at the moment and why the ITK has dried up: 'No other info I'm afraid on incomings.'
There just isn't any news at the moment, which is mildly concerning.

However, I'm sure Daniel Levy is working at maximum capacity to ensure that only the finest players come to Tottenham. His tireless commitment to doing the right thing for the club can only be commended and criticism really is unwarranted. Like a modern day Gandhi, another bald-headed inspirational leader, he has guided us morally, spiritually and emotionally through dark times, the 40 days and 40 nights it took to move from Spurs Lodge to the new training ground were an epiphany for many. Some say that there is no honour high enough to reward him but his sainthood has been hard earned. That he is also literally a god amongst us mere men is no mean feat too. We are in many ways unworthy but he recognises our weakness & shows love through humility & quiet meditation. He can guide us forward; together we will explore space. One club, one nation, one love, one Levy.

harry just wants the player, he doesnt get involved in the financials

No. but if he the club are reticent to accept his recommendations he just publicly pressurises them. Which gets the fans and media on side and forces the clubs hand. That's what he done at Portsmouth, tried and Spurs and is currently doing at QPR.

I'm so glad we had Levy as chairman when Harry was manager.

Or...
We are not leaking information like a barrow boy through a car window anymore and the work is progressing but we don't get to hear about it?

Changes in staff means fewer ITKs out there (for now) and a tighter rein on info.

I am assuming the work is being done. Just like my boss is.... Ah! Slight issue with my logic there!

The funny thing is even Levy would admit to making mistakes, so why he has these followers who are like a cult and won't admit that he has made any mistakes at all is a mystery to me.

Whilst I feel people should be prepared to hold their hands up and admit mistakes have you ever heard Levy admit to any mistakes? ;)

It's strange. From all the salary estimates that get thrown about, we seem to have a very narrow band for wages.

Are you a fringe squad player? 50k per week.

Are you indispensable to the club? 75k per week.

From what I understand as well Sunderland pay relatively decent wages to. Not sure the last time Huddlstone signed a new contract etc but I wouldn't of thought his wages were there than high it would become a problem for the likes of Sunderland to bridge a big gap. surprising really.

Evening standard said 40k a week at Spurs but Sunderland offering 35k

I don't think anyone is saying he hasn't made mistakes. He's made quite a few over the years, with a lot of them coming in the transfer market. I think it's also more than fair to say we're in a much better position now than we were when he took over and there are definitely people who seem to forget that.

But there seem to be some people who are already criticising him for his mistakes in this transfer window 50 days before it ends. It's fair enough to criticise his previous mistakes but for people to be having a pop this early in the window is just a bit silly, particularly when we've brought a Brazilian international for a lot of money, and have only been thwarted in getting Villa by the player being scared to leave Spain (not exactly Levy's fault).

Anyway...on to the ITK.

Hudd must realise his days are numbered at Spurs, but I'm a bit concerned about who our cover is going to be in midfield if we sell him and Parker.

Is she. Maybe it was a bad DoP in the last movie I saw her in (can't remember the name now) but she looked like Michael fucking Jackson! :wtf:

Are you still confusing the Thriller video with The Lake House, misfit? I thought we'd sorted this out.

Thriller is the Michael Jackson video with zombies in it.

The Lake House is the Sandra Bullock film where you wish zombies were eating your brains so that you would never have to watch that shit again.

Now to the latest ITK. Nothing we aren't hearing from elsewhere but always good to have people backing each other up.

Hopefully Tom gets his move quickly and Scotty goes somewhere deserving of his ability.

Holtby, Livermore, Siggy, Carroll and the fella from Twente who can play just about anywhere apparently. So with Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele first choice, that's a group of eight players for three positions in my mind. Paulinho can cover Sandro as the DM, the Holtby comes into the equation etc...the way we'll most likely line up. Livermore is our third option for that slot etc.

Holtby can cover Dembele/Paulinho. Loads of options there to mix it up given the amount of games we'll have to play.

Siggy might not be cover for those positions as such, maybe more as a LF....but I'd imagine he could be depending what we line up.

Stunned that Parker is on 70k. Decent player but that's way more than I thought Levy would have given him. With him and big Tom departing we'll make significant cuts on wages added in what are already saving from Gallas and Bentley.

I think it's the cover for Sandro that I'm most concerned about. I see Holtby as cover for Dembele, Livermore as cover for Paulinho (although cover that we can certainly improve on) and Carroll as something a bit different. I think Siggy is more of a forward option really.

Also...which fella from Twente?
