There is no article like that on my neqwsnew, I F5'ed as well just to be sure but still nothing like that came up.

I mentioned this last season after his drop in performance for latter half of the season

This is what people are forgetting. We apparently made our interest known before the CC began, then he (or his advisers) said that no decision would be made until the CC has finished. Then he comes out today, all over SSN, saying that Atletico did in 3 days, what other clubs couldn't do in months. All indications (even from his own fucking family) pointed to him saying he'd decided to come to the PL/THFC, only for Atletico to pop up & him not give it a second thought.

I personally think it's nothing but a statement that was written out by his agent, For the benefit of the supporters, to make it seem as though their club acted better & showed more desire to sign him, than every other club that wanted him did.

Yeah, I understand that many posters here think it lacks creativity and it's a tired conversation which I won't even attempt to start right now.

But, I think it's a lot more likely we go into the season with what we have (sans Huddlestone/Parker, maybe Livermore) and should January come around and it's obvious the creativity isn't there, we might look to add something.

Plus Holtby and Siggy entering their second seasons. Both have the ability to progress rapidly. Neither of them are cloggers ans still early-20's. Yeah yeah, not a Pirlo or a Modric right now but still capable of giving the needed creativity.

Ahhhh it's context now is it? An ITK comes in here and says we're signing Kloot the Six Armed Martian to play in goal and everyone takes it as gospel, an article appears that doesn't cast Levy in the golden glow of gods armpits and it's fucking context.

I want my clash between the BSoDL and the anti-Levyites and you ****s aren't going to ruin it for me with this context bollocks.

That's why other club's chairmen and agents hate dealing with Levy. He has cost the club so many top players with his last minute brinkmanship and going back on deals that were agreed. As alluded to by Journalist there's no love lost between Lerner and Levy so the Nenteke transfer will drag on and on IMHO

So, apart from this supposed lack of love lost between Levy & Lerner, which came from ITK, how many chairmen & agents have you spoken to about Levy's conduct?. Seems odd that our biggest & most important signings happened without a hitch or a delay? Lloris (all down to Llyon wanting more but came back begging)? Berbatov? Modric? Dembele? Vertonghen? Sandro? Kaboul? Walker? Bale?

Then there's the flops, ie Bent, Bentley, Rebrov...

I don't remember this famous "Levy brinkmanship" and "going back on deals" costing us in those instances?
