I know he isn't quite what many would like, but it would appear that Bolasie is managed by the same people as Kane, Mason and Pritchard. http://www.straightacesports.com/news/

I think he would be a great addition to our wing options.

If we were to buy Bolasie, we'd have to issue a warning to children sitting pitchside at our narrow stadium to sit back for fear of being bludgeoned in the face by Bolasie's swinging arms. Easily the most uncoordinated player I think I've since beyond the U12 level. Plays like a damn drunken and PCP'd tornado in a trailer park.

We at Spurs are all about aesthetic lads, be reasonable sir.

JJ on experience:

The original JJetset @jetsetyid · 2h2 hours ago
Yesterday was unacceptable & proves how much people get caught up in the hype of younger players but you need the established old heads too!

Tony Poch ‏@VILLOS_BOAS 2h2 hours ago
@jetsetyid @yamitsi well Mr JJ I hope this is addressed in the summer

The original JJetset‏@jetsetyid
@VILLOS_BOAS @yamitsi yeah looking at that !

JJ on importance of outs:

Simon Thurston ‏@SimonPThurston 2h2 hours ago
@jetsetyid @yamitsi Yup. Summer will be interesting (& v important) - foresee a few ins & outs - MP must be allowed to go get 'his' players

The original JJetset‏@jetsetyid
@SimonPThurston @yamitsi important to get the outs out!

Simon Thurston ‏@SimonPThurston 1h1 hour ago
@jetsetyid @yamitsi Therein lies the challenge methinks

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 1h1 hour ago
@SimonPThurston @yamitsi BIG TIME

There is a plan (unlike Summer 2013, which is what JJ has hinted at before):

Jonny Wallace ‏@J_Wallace_84 1h1 hour ago
@jetsetyid @SimonPThurston @yamitsi Have actual plans been put in place for summer J?

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 1h1 hour ago
@J_Wallace_84 @SimonPThurston @yamitsi there are plans yes

Possibly a change in ways for Levy?

Simon Thurston ‏@SimonPThurston 1h1 hour ago
@jetsetyid @yamitsi we all know Daniel likes a good ROI :/

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 1h1 hour ago
@SimonPThurston @yamitsi our best season was when that went out the window !!

Simon Thurston ‏@SimonPThurston 1h1 hour ago
@jetsetyid @yamitsi Exactly. We'll let you give DL a tinkle just to remind him ;)

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 45m45 minutes ago
@SimonPThurston @yamitsi he knows

JJ on Mitchell and the fact that we're not just looking at young players (so he's probably suggesting that people are getting too worked up on the comfort zone thing)

Simon Thurston ‏@SimonPThurston 2h2 hours ago
@yamitsi @jetsetyid Prob a matter of trust & "see what he can do." Hope DL realises must back him (sensibly) to compliment good core of kids

The original JJetset‏@jetsetyid
@SimonPThurston @yamitsi brought Paul in to help & not just looking at kids regardless of what you read

Sounds promising thanks for the news.

Let's see what Dl decides is good ROI on the shower that we have to get shot of.

One big problem is that we have so many senior squad players that we need to get rid off, but Levy have shown that he never sells players on the cheap.

The reason for this is to show clubs that there is no point trying to lowball us, it will not work, and they have to pay what we want. This worked out good for when clubs like Stoke and Sunderland came in for our players, but more often than not it lead to players running out their contract.

This will again hinder our plans as there is simply no wages or room in the squad for new players unless we manage to get rid of quite many. I hope that Levy have learned and simply cut his losses and let Poch/Mitchell get their players in, but i have my doubts.

I would be really optimistic if i start to see players like Kaboul, Paulinho, Adebayor, Capoue (pretty much anyone other than a few to be honest) etch out the doors early this window though.

So in reality its down to moving players that are going to be very hard to shift. Combine that with a stubborn and very demanding chairman (backhanded compliment) and we've all the ingredients for another massively frustrating window.

Whoever was mainly responsible for identifying the magnificent 7 better be nowhere near our future recruitment drives. Hopefully its the Pochettino/Mitcthell axis that carries most sway.

It really has been a true disaster where the consequences could be felt for years to come given how difficult it could be to offload some of them which hinders are plans for incomings.

JJ does say that Levy realises that he can't afford to insist on getting a good return on his investments.

I'm really pleased that we do seem to be looking at some older, more experienced players from what JJ is saying there - of course it's great to look at promising youngsters but I think we're really lacking in players who can really pull the team together, instruct them and lead them (yesterday being a very good example of our weakness in this).

He'll have to accept losses, damage limitation in order for us to move on.

With reports we'll pay Ade's wages to loan him out, we may as well release him a long with Kaboul.

I can see us taking a small hit but still getting reasonable money for Vlad and Capoue.

Funds coming in for the likes of Lennon and Townsend would be a bonus and very welcome as we'll get arse raped over Soldado and Paulinho. Selling the likes of Townsend will go a long way to helping us break even.

He doesn't really have a history of this kind of rational behaviour at all. Remember how he let Bentley run down his contract rather than sell him at a loss. He'll be hawking Paulinho around for £18mil then insisting he's part of the squad when there's no interest.

We wouldn't pay all of his wages if we loaned him out. Otherwise why not just release him?

It's pretty clear Paulinho, Kaboul and Capoue will go, maybe Vlad. Obviously we need to finally get Lennon off the books as well.

With Soldado I think we're going to have to wait and see who we bring in. I don't mind him being here as 3rd choice there are a lot worse strikers, he can do a job in the cups.

From all that lot and hopefully Ade we should have around £30m ish and about £15m a year off the wage bill which is pretty astonishing.

Townsend's an interesting one, as it's not as if we're short of English players anymore. Perhaps if we signed someone such as Ayew his days could be numbered. He simply hasn't really done enough for me. I don't think he'll go though.

Exactly. I'M not getting excited about this window until I see these players are moved on. It's very concerning that poch played Paulinho yesterday. Surely he can't see a future for him.

Not concerning at all for me, Paulinho had a very solid cameo in his last appearance and Poch wanted to see if he would push on, and at the same time shake up the lineup a little bit which has been very stale for a few weeks. Clearly it didn't work but it wasn't a ludicrous idea. Now if he starts NEXT week, that would be extremely concerning.
