Morning all!

Here's the final thread of the transfer window and we've got just two things to do.

Firstly

ALL HAIL THE GOAT. First with the Dele Alli and winner of cryptic of the year.

Secondly

Yesterdays donation drive was a massive success and we hit our target of £1000 which, along with the recurring donations that people have set up will keep us going through until the summer. So we'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who chipped in, what a fantastic effort. Thank you!

Considering what a quiet window we had both with ITK and signings, yesterday's thread experience was really quite good so we look forward to more of the same in the summer. See you then!

Cheers guys for the work you do and running of this site. Top place and a worthy way to waste my days away rather than do my job...

The Goat done good, and the site held up brilliantly—ran slow a few times, and I had to log in again (but that may have been me) but that was all. What was the weight of traffic like?

Breath deeply. Relax.

Thanks Rob, A&C and in fact everyone involved with SC for the site and keeping it all up and running and on track. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we appreciate it. Well done to everyone also for the amount sent through - just wow! Also well done to the ITK's and posters like Dovah etc (y)

I can't believe some of the comments made by some of the posters though but hey ho, just another day I guess. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say I just hope it was the emotion of the day getting to them :cautious:

On the whole I'm kinda happy with the way that the window went. We've bought one of the up and coming young players, taken Aaron off our books for the short term, sold Naughton, released Bennie and have given a couple of our youngsters valuable playing time elsewhere. In addition I think it's now clear to the players who and who doesn't have a future with us. All this and most importantly have kept all the core of our good squad and management together.

The next thing I'm looking forward to (after this weekend coming's emphatic win of course) is further news on the stadium to put us in a enhanced positive mood. A cup win and then a concerted push for 4th or even 3rd! Don't ask for much do I eh!?

Anyway, most importantly "when does the next window open and can we do a countdown?!!"

Thanks again.

Edit - and I'll be certainly keeping up and taking interest with the MK Dons now every weekend.

So one out, one out on loan and one to come in next summer, there was a time that would have had us slitting wrists left right and centre yet if anything, most people are just disappointed we didn't move a few more out, just shows how comfortable we all are with how the club is going at the moment.

Not that it's very likely to happen but it looks like we are still allowed to loan players out to associations that don't have the same window as us - such as Norway, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, USA/Canada. I wonder if Daniel is on the phone?

echo the previous sentiments on here. a&c and rob did an amazing job as always keeping us crazies entertained throughout and I'm chuffed to beans the donation drive reached it's target. guess that's another 5 months of my life I can kiss goodbye to :ROFLMAO:

shame kabs and ade didn't move on but am more than happy with the clear shift in transfer policy. think alli has got tons of potential and this is exactly the signing we should be making more of to supplement academy players coming through.

coys.

@Rob will be along at some point with that info but I suspect 9.30 onwards was busiest as that's when I started to experience some issues.

We were busy but not as bad as the summer.

This is the number of forums users (the bit where it says "XXXX users online" in the sidebar):

This is for this week:

And this is the past year or so (the scale is different as the values are averaged over a different timestep).

Great job to those who run this site.

Not quite the epic transfer window of yesteryear but I'm hugely positive about the future, and especially the young players we have at the club.

This really could be the start of something special.

Small donation made.

Of all the potential outs yesterday Azza was the only one I would have and now will miss as he has given us some great memories. At his age he still has time to knuckle down and resurrect his career and I hope he does it. Although I have no problem with Ade going I am glad we didnt strengthen Wet Spam as we all know what Ade is like when he first joins a club.

Kaboul is a busted flush and I am surprised Roma were interested and more surprised he didnt leap at it.

Capoue meh can be good can be woefulhopefully he will knuckle down

Disco Benny again some good memories lol...not sure about his behaviur of late and more so since his freedom twitter image etc...so I will instead just remember the good times

It was fun while it lasted. not nearly enough anger and angst for my liking. unless you are Yankspur. in which case. Loads of anger and loads of angst.

Well done SC you are amazeballs.

thanks to all of you who make this Spurs site the best around.

I'm especially humbled by my first banning, from contributing to the ITK thread, after windmilling at BSoDL following JJs reiteration late in the window that we would not be using any of our TV money to invest in players again this window. I used the time saved wisely, watching everyone else go off on tangents, and the odd visit to Pornhub. Delighted with the hope that the signing of young Mr Alli brings, and that two members of the day off so let's get on it all day brigade have finally left the Club.

Massive month ahead, COYS!
