The problem is, he won't be cheap. We have a finite transfer budget and do we really want to spend big money for a type of striker we don't really need ?
We desperately need pace up front that's where we should be targeting our limited transfer budget imo.
Surprised so many are against Benteke, depending on price id say hed be a decent backup to Harry. Then again, anyone short of Griezemen would probably upset some.
The real issue surely is that he won't be cheap either in fee or wages.
I agree with that. Movement is extremely important. But I do think we need both.disagree about us desperately needing pace up front.
If you move the ball as pedestrian as we have for large parts of the last two games, then all the pace in the world up top is'nt going to make the slightest difference.
imho, Barkley is the one we are crying out for, another creative brain in midfield.

I would if my todger wasn't silly from laughing so muchBenteke?
Fuck me.

Quite possibly but if we have an option to swap VJ for CB and Poch thinks that it's an upgrade then why not? As I say it all depends on how expensive it is and if it stops us doing other things. But we're crying out for pacy options in other areas (Right back and wing forward) and already have VJ and Son. This is so needless.

As in... Christian Benteke?
I don't think it's worth getting your knickers in a twist over Benteke - it was only opinion, not ITK
