Because usually you take a job on like this with a huge incentive for reaching a specific goal. If you were offered a decent weekly lump sum and a huge bonus if you reached say CL, what have you got to lose?
Are you available the next few weeks Trix?

As a suggestion this actually makes a lot of sense. It does however also seem far too sensible and thought out for us to do it. Feels like too many moving parts.

can't we just forfeit the last 6 0-3? i really don't see the point of 6 more pastings tbh. this season just needs to die already. a few empty stadiums may get some sort of message across to levy.
No people have got a few bets on us letting in a certain number of goals in the first 20 minutes again as well as losing all 6!

Imagine if Chelsea hire Poch before Thursday and then we go 2/3-0 down early on again, Levy should not be in the stadium for his own sake.

Each to their own but all this Poch stuff is irrelevant to our situation. The guy is unemployed and free to go where he feels is best for him. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes. How do we know that he has no interest in coming back? Maybe the issues that got him fired previously is what's preventing the club from hiring him.

We are Spurs fans and have been on the rollercoaster long enough to know that we have the longest ride in the world. In under a year from now we could be up there challenging for top spot or we could be 2 points from 8 games. Regardless of how we feel, I can't see Levy stepping down/leaving anytime before he kicks the bucket, especially after watching that vid of him talking to the Cambridge students.

Never ever seen so many tickets on exchange for a 'Category A' fixture 😂

This was at 11am this morning. I suspect more people will have listed theirs since. Going to be a lot of man u fans in the home ends. Could easily kick off with the way things are and how bad our stewarding is in the stadium. Glad I cant go.

'There are absolutely thousands of seats available on the exchange, I've never seen anything like it, especially for a game against Man Utd. 127 pairs for sale 74 three seats together 42 four seats together There are even 16 groups of 5 seats and 4 groups of 6 seats together!'

I'll be honest not that I expect it to make a difference, but I genuinely expected CS to have gone by this morning.
I thought there were reports of Levy going to the dressing room after the match. I assumed that's what was afoot.

I put my ticket on exchange and some idiot bought it, a United fan maybe ?
Agree with your suspicions: there’s bound to be Man Utd fans buying a membership then getting hold of those tickets. Can see this happening, lots of their fans live in London as well then throw in more tourists.

To think I was gutted this game was the same night I'm at the O2 to see Kevin Hart and they have a no phone policy. Now I'm glad I'll be laughing with my mind taken off the game. Talk about going through the motions now until the season ends.

Rangnick would be an amazing signing for the club, he helped sort out some of the mess at UTD and they are on the right track now. He set the foundations and IMO if they got Kane and continue on next season they will be challenging soon.

Problem is he's currently the HC of Austria national team and he seemed keen on management position (which drew him to United). Would he be tempted to leave, and I'm sure would cost a lot of money just for 6 matches...

Genuinely wondering, as an American I’ll be honest, why anyone would attend this match in their right mind.
Only three options in my opinion - stay home completely and swallow the ticket, go to the ground and publicly burn the ticket and then go home, or attend the match for a planned walk out after your voice is gone from Levy Out chants.
