In the build up to their goal the ball is zipped past Eriksen.

Now had he been alive and anticipating the pass he could of cut it out.

That's exactly why he shouldn't be in the team. It's those little fine margins that make the difference.

Feel for Alli, lost count of the number of times he received the ball and had literally no support. Several times he was the furthest forward. Winks disappeared, Eriksen awful and as for Danny Rose he is sadly as shadow of the player he was. He can't control the damn ball let alone pass it.

Tactically I don't mind sitting deep against Liverpool as they thrive on space in behind but our Midfield are leaving massive gaps for them to play little one twos which is cutting us open. Need to find someone who can receive the ball in the middle and link defense and attack. Sessegnon for Rose and Lo Celso for Eriksen for me.

How the fuck did we let our squad and team get into this position. While Liverpool were recruiting well and building, Levy was sitting on his hands and thinking that our squad didn't need investment. And Poch is to blame too for being so fussy about players that we didn't get in people like Maddison.
Daniel Levy.

They Will want to score again. They are too cocky not to.
Of course they will want to, but they don't need to score another if they don't concede so they will take less risks. Just like CL final, they'll try to keep it tight and pick us apart if we give them an easy opening

I’m sorry but the formation and idea are virtually ruined by 2 players who lose every tackle and a lb who can’t pass.

eriksen and dele need to be off for midfielders who are going to graft to win the ball or tenaciously hold up the opposition, to that end it should be lo Celso and lamela.

I would sub Rose, but best to save one sub for moura or son once their knackered from chasing every hoof ball.
everyone can see it but JM it seems how can you win football matches without midfielders who put effort into winning the ball when they haven’t got it and protect it when they do?

Defensively see more positives in that first half than I was anticipating.

Bit of a gripe with VAR and that is why it can't be used to determine goal kicks/corners and tight throw ins? Surely it's perfect for it. Might sound bitter seeing as we conceded from said throw in, but I have felt like it should be utilised in that way for ages. We all know wrong corners are scored from a lot..

Anyway, today was always going to be a write off. Just wanted to see signs of improvement. Our defending has been better overall. Hopefully that continues and I can see clean sheets coming again soon enough.

How is Aurier still starting for us? He’s been everywhere bar RB
Danny Rose is finished, can’t even control a ball

Not playing with a DM is suicide, Eriksen & Winks can’t protect the backline

We don't have a DM.
Actually we have Dier, but playing Dier at the pace this first half was played would've been 100x worse

Some of you need to get over your hatred for Jose. How many seasons have some of you posted on here hoping for us to play defensive and not open against Liverpool. Thats exactly what we are doing and if not for a crap decision on the throw in and handball we would be drawing with them right now. Tactically it was working until their goal.

Some of you act like you would rather watch us play hectic open football which would see us get thrashed. Jose is playing this way also due to our injury situation. If you arent going to support the Manager because of your biased views on him then go and join the Arsenal fan base.

To get something out of this game or at least stop it becoming embarrassing we need somebody to run their heart out for the team and eriksen isn’t that guy I would swap him for lamela

Eriksen only cares about not getting injured. Doesn’t give a monkeys about Spurs and should go ASAP. Rose gives the ball away constantly. Need Lamela and Lo Celso to fire things up. So depressing. I just want to see a team of fully committed players who want to be at our club.

We look dangerous when we counter but it’s in effect a half asleep Alli, ball greedy Son and Moura against the entire Liverpool defence and central midfield.

Watching us is like watching a league 2 team at best, sunday league at worst! It's just so bad!

I understand the sentiment, but it is not. People make these type of comments all the time and saying it does not make it true.

If you were to put every Spurs player on the transfer list today they would all be signed by Premier League clubs or to European ones.

They are not playing well, lack confidence, not set up right, unfit, not match fit, running down their contract, too comfortable, believe their own hype, etc, etc, but all good players on their day as most have proved in the not too recent past.

No one can call Mourinho out for this

buck stops with Daniel Levy except he’s too busy booking Saracens games and guns and roses at the new stadium

Incredible how it’s unravelled for us and the “shrewdest” chairman in the league
