Liverpool are far more open when they need to score. Now they are 1 up they can comfortably play around at the back and keep their defence tight. Will be much harder for us to make good chances now and we'll have to take risks to push forward more

They can't look at incorrect corners that lead to goals, or free kicks or throw ins.

Plenty of good interceptions, blocks and tackles but what we then do with the ball is terrible. No idea what Winks is supposed to be doing. Whenever he receives the ball in space it immediately gets passed backwards. Shit scared of having the ball. Rose's regression is complete. Eriksen useless today. He should only be an impact sub from now.

Subs to be made are obvious, and I feel there could be chances for us if they're made.

I actually don’t think we were bad that half.

Plain and obvious what our plan is, and for the most part it worked.

Less fucking around from Eriksen and Rose and things could be different.

The thing is, when you play so defensively and still look like you’re going to lose, it’s harder to justify that approach. People will, perhaps rightly, ask why we didn’t ‘come out and have a go’.

it’s not Mourinho’s fault that we only had one recognised striker who’s now injured or that our 2 arguably 1st choice central midfielders are both injured, or that our number 1 keeper is also injured. The squad lacks depth and he needs a full summer window and pre-season and then next season before anyone has any right to judge him.
