Eriksen, Rose woeful, but I just can't wait for Lloris to return. Gazza is just such a poor keeper. He sometimes pulls wonderful saves, but his positioning is just so poor.

Looking forward to seeing the camera angle that shows clear handball now they can’t give it. They’re bound to have had better angles than what they showed us as it was totally inconclusive.

What's with Martin Tyler calling Firminho "Bobby" is he his fucking mate?

I'm not interested in hearing "micky the greek passes to tentacles, onto Fingers McGhee."
Say the proper names you twat.

Unless he is part of the new age and has married someone named Bobby, and it's his new surname, Bobby-Firminho, in which case i apologize.

We can all fucking see it that Dele is pure garbage at the moment and everyone aand his dog can tell you that Eriksen is done at Spurs yet we persist game after game without a change. It’s insane that a supposed world class manager cannot or will not see it. Or that he plays with a plan to bypass midfield and essentially throw the game as without a midfield you don’t win football matches.

I’m sorry but the formation and idea are virtually ruined by 2 players who lose every tackle and a lb who can’t pass.

eriksen and dele need to be off for midfielders who are going to graft to win the ball or tenaciously hold up the opposition, to that end it should be lo Celso and lamela.

I would sub Rose, but best to save one sub for moura or son once their knackered from chasing every hoof ball.

I dont know who Mourinho expected to get hold of the ball in the middle. Winks, I suppose but that aint happening. Put Dier on for Winks, Lo Celso for Eriksen and Lamela for Aurier. If he doesnt make a change we will get rolled in the 2nd half.
Winks may as well not be on the pitch.

One nil down to a team that is pretty much unstoppable and we did have our chances. I'd have taken that before kick off. They had to fight for it. This is still open
Liverpool are far more open when they need to score. Now they are 1 up they can comfortably play around at the back and keep their defence tight. Will be much harder for us to make good chances now and we'll have to take risks to push forward more

Considering the context I understand the approach from Mourinho and had this game finished 0-0 or we took the lead many would have been praising it.

I think we should be braver second half now we've conceded. When I say braver I mean it in the defensive sense. Let's take one of those CBs off now and bring on Lamela, Lo Celso or Skipp to play a bit higher up and get a bit closer to them. The game isn't over until they get a second goal.

liverpool pressing us as if their lives depend on it, while we let liverpool stroll up to halfway so they can just batter us senseless.

People are quickly forgetting how shit we have been for a year. This is not down to Jose's tactics. Having said that we do need Lamela or GLC in the middle.

I cant really criticise any individual to be honest. We've tried to sit deep, pack the defence, and be disciplined. You're going to be forced to clear your lines and live off scraps. For the most part I think we did alright, and everyone has put in a shift and tried to do their role.

I also don't really get the wailing. We're against the runaway leaders and sometimes you have to sit in and try and hold out. Big fucking deal.

The goal though is an example of small margins in sport, and how two, three, four, very small things not going in your favour often then leads to a big event. They get a bit of luck with the throw in decision, but then Alderweireld doesn't deal with it very well when in a good position to do so, Alli doesn't win a 50-50 edge of the box, and Tanganga is left a bit exposed but gets sold a huge dummy when trying to recover. And it's 1-0 in the blink of an eye.

We'll have to change our approach now I guess, not sure what to, but we cant really afford to open up too much.
