We're so disjointed it's actually comical. I actually believe a big reason in our decline has been that the togetherness in this squad has just evaporated. They aren't prepared to do the hard off-the ball work for each other. It really looks like some our players play for themselves and not for the team. Sad to see.

I’ve also been one of Dele Alli’s backers but I think the time has come to move on. Hasn’t progressed (actually he’s regressed) and he’s way above his station.

I actually don’t think we were bad that half.

Plain and obvious what our plan is, and for the most part it worked.

Less fucking around from Eriksen and Rose and things could be different.

they then went out and spent massive money and completely replaced the entire squad that he inherited and bought him a completely new starting 11, based off a list of players he said he wanted.

Their net spend is less than ours and they signed players using stats led by michael Edwards, who levy let go

Klopp didn’t just come in and spend, and many of the targets weren’t his

the issue we have is that levy is a control freak and wants to have a zero net spend

but we will rebuild - hence GLC and ndombele.

This is basically what we're gonna see with Mourinho at the helm. It may very well get better over time, but in the end, it's always going to be cynical and risk-minimizing football. Should have just written this season off with Mason as a caretaker and then gone for the likes of Nagelsmann or someone like that in the summer.

The problem with that is.........(drum roll) Daniel Levy.

Absolute utter shite. You can't honestly believe we are in a better position with Mourinho

The players hated the last fra months under Poch, he had become a petulant prick. Of course we are in a better position now, this match would’ve been lost already under Poch.

We are ravaged by injuries and they have their first 11 which has been fit for pretty much the whole season. What was Jose meant to do? Not his fault Erisken is a pussy in the tackle and Dele is having a stinker season again. This is a damage limitation game and try and hit them on the break for me. Just don’t get spanked.

How is Aurier still starting for us? He’s been everywhere bar RB
Danny Rose is finished, can’t even control a ball

Not playing with a DM is suicide, Eriksen & Winks can’t protect the backline

I just don't get it. We have Lamela and Lo Celso available and Mou keeps picking Alli and Eriksen. Baffling.

Agree with everything other than the last line.

For varying reasons we have put a team of lightweights out against the European champions ,so no surprise!
Rose at least 4 mistakes.
Winks chasing shadows.
Son/Eriksen non existent.
Ali wants 5 mins on every ball .
Tangana and Lucas the only pluses

I reserved any sort of comment when poch got sacked and jose hired because I wanted it to work and I didn't want egg on my face but what an awful decision that was, you could assemble your dream team of coaches and managers and these players would still turn out this shite week in week out.

This year has been the most disastrous in my memory. We've gone back 15 years.

Not good, not atrocious. Just kinda as expected. A shame their goal was kinda pin-ball bullshit when it came. They're just too good at the moment tbh.

Sanchez and Tanganga doing well (don't think either was really at fault for goal.) Lucas our most dangerous/focused attacker. Smash & grabbing a point still possible, if unlikely.

What's random?

VAR will check back over a few phases of play, but won't go back beyond a throw in, freckick or corner.
Going back 4 seconds to a wrong throwin that directly leads to a goal, seems much less excessive than most of the VAR-calls I've seen

Eriksen and Rose should never wear our shirt again. Big games are won in midfield and we are not winning any with Eriksen strolling around pussing out of tackles and giving the ball away. Rose the less said the better, just a pub player now days.
I know we have injuries but le celso, skipp should be ahead of Eriksen and Sessegnon and anyone available are better than 2020 Rose
