TEAM FORM ___ Spurs LWDLD _____ Liverpool WWWWW _____ (All competitions)

After a run of five consecutive asay defeats against us between 208-2012, Liverpool have lost just one of their 6 Premier League (PL) visits to us. They are unbeaten in their last 8 PL games in London (W5 D2), winning the last 3 inn a row. The Reds have not won 4 consecutive in the capital since 1989.

Liverpool have taken 85 points from their last 87 available in the PL (W28 D1), winning their last 11 matches in a row, scoring 28. They have won 58 points from their opening 20 PL games matches this season - more than they won in two previous full seasons in the competition; 52 in 2011-12 and 54 in 1998-99.

Sadio Mane has been involved in 11 goals in his last 9 PL appearances, scoring 6 and assisting 5. He has only failed to register a goal involvement in one of those 9 matches, the Red's 2-1 win against Brighton.

We have won just one of our last 14 PL meetings with the Reds (D4 L9), winning 4-1 at Wembley in 2017. We have won 6 of our last 10 PL home games against sides starting the day top of the table (D1 L3), though we have lost our last two (vs Man City in April 2018 and Liverpool in September2018.

Only bottom club Norwich City have kept fewer clean sheets this season as us (2). Meanwhile the Reds have scored in 29 consecutive matches - the last team to have a longer run in the PL were Manchester United in November 2008 (36).

Jose Mourinho has won just 2 of his 10 games against Jurgen Klopp in his managerial career (20%)- among the 114 Managers he has faced more than twice, only Ronald Koeman (17%, 1 win in 6) does he have a worse win ratio.

In all competitions, we have won just 2 of our last 12 games in which Kane has played no part (D4 6), failing to win any of our 4 such matches this term (D3 L1)

Same here, not inspired by our recent form and sadly the Red tide is in full flow.

Hope we give it a go, somehow, stranger things have happened.

The media is going to be so strong with this.

Fark it.

I'll watch it if we're putting a shift in no matter what the score but if we stroll about like its a testimonial then they can fk right off.

Yup. I reckon it'll be a stroll for them. We might not get panned but I'm guessing we'll threaten very, very little.

Early(ish) goal for them and then a comfortable win

We were neck and neck (even ahead) not that long ago. The divergence in fortunes is shocking.

Klopp's incredible though, fair play to the guy

Ugh.

I really don't want to be that guy and skip a game, just because I know we'll get hammered... but.

Through thick and thin I'll support these boys. COYS.

It is kinda nice to have low expectations and be the underdog again though. It's always fkin tough watching your team lose to Southampton when you're expected to be battering them.

Can't wait for this game, no pressure on us.

If we win I can take gratification in the fact spit the dog and the rest will come up with all sorts of excuses, if we lose, it'll be the same circle jerk for a team that have been the best team in the prem this season.

Out of interest, what would the result be if we forfeited the game? 3-0?

Just an idea....keep the goal difference down:ROFLMAO:

I think Liverpool will go unbeaten this season, they are just too good and also seem to have luck on their side. I will be over the moon with a 3-0 defeat. We are simply not at their level anymore. The rapid decline for us has been quite sad actually. The CL final was the end of an era for us and the beginning of a new one for them.

It will take us several seasons to be able to compete against Klopps side.

Given recent form and inept performances I Can see this ending very similar to the last game under AVB when we played Liverpool and lost 5-0 (I think).

Less pressure on us.

If Lamela and GLC start, and we work a lot harder the game may be tighter than some imagine.

Wouldnt surprise me if they win 2-1 again.

Didn't Lamela score in this fixture last season..

If the players cant raise themselves and put the effort in for this one. Playing the team that beat us in the champions league final and at home then I really will despair. Even if we do lose, I just want to see some sort of commitment and effort. By that I don't mean Aurier giving away a penalty in the first ten minutes doing a stupid tackle.
