Some of you need to get over your hatred for Jose. How many seasons have some of you posted on here hoping for us to play defensive and not open against Liverpool. Thats exactly what we are doing and if not for a crap decision on the throw in and handball we would be drawing with them right now. Tactically it was working until their goal.

Some of you act like you would rather watch us play hectic open football which would see us get thrashed. Jose is playing this way also due to our injury situation. If you arent going to support the Manager because of your biased views on him then go and join the Arsenal fan base.
I agree - I think our formation and tactics were spot on but we had the wrong personnel. Hopefully we'll see some substitutions but maintain a similar shape.

No excuse for a midfield of Winks, Dele and Eriksen against Liverpool. No bottle, no pressure. Lamela and Skipp for Eriksen and Dele please.

Our midfield really is dogshite. They dont press, they shown no aggression and none of them want the ball. Only one that has shown anything offensively is lucas moura. Depressing how little we have offered, how many we have behind the ball but still how likely they look like getting through us.

did you see Eriksen when Rose was looking for someone to throw the ball to? He turned his back and walked away.

Eriksen only cares about not getting injured. Doesn’t give a monkeys about Spurs and should go ASAP. Rose gives the ball away constantly. Need Lamela and Lo Celso to fire things up. So depressing. I just want to see a team of fully committed players who want to be at our club.
That's why we need Bruno Fernandes, hes a country mile better than Eriksen in every way. Plus he loves a tackle.

Wed be hugely upgrading.

The problem with that is.........(drum roll) Daniel Levy.
Yes mate, but if there is a one in a million chance of us actually spending money in the transfer window, it's fully and categorically impossible for us to get rid of Levy. So if he would have continued down the path of going with a 'project' or process manager that actually stands for a distinct style of play and develops players, I still would have been quite excited going forward. With Mourinho at the helm it's all just depressing.

I dont think it matters who is in the dugout for this game, I think this squad is cooked. People saying Poch would have done better seem to have forgotten the performances against the likes of Brighton. Or countless other performances over the last year.
The problem with this team is that it hasn’t had the right investment. For a top four chasing premier league club to go two transfer windows without signing anyone is just beyond ridiculous. I don’t know if it was more down to arrogance or stupidity but that is where the problem lies.

We seem to be the only team who won’t sign a back up striker because we have Harry Kane. Man City never sat and said “well we have Aguero so who else would come?” Arsenal went and got both Aubameyang and Lacazette... we just seem to be the only team who don’t think we need a back up for a player who spends a couple of mon the injured each season. This isn’t the first time with Harry.
We genuinely need 7 or 8 players. For me, That isn’t a managers fault.

No one can call Mourinho out for this

buck stops with Daniel Levy except he’s too busy booking Saracens games and guns and roses at the new stadium

Incredible how it’s unravelled for us and the “shrewdest” chairman in the league

Agree as Levy's main concern has never been about what fertilises the pitch.

Quite correct, his job is to support the manager and obtain the manager's targets and dispose of players the mansger no longer wants, Levy just counts the pennies and when things go wrong pulls the trigger!
3rd best squad in premier league according to Mourinho.

So is it because Dele is tired, carrying a knock, the system is wrong or everyone around him is shite as to why he's having another shit game?

We’ve done what I wanted to see: played with conviction and energy and organisation. But still we win the ball and then give it right back after a pass or two. And all our counter attacks have ended with off target shots or sloppy passes.

Tanganga has done well.

Not bad, defending pretty well and look dangerous on the break. Not sure what the feck we will do now though with them scoring.
