Is it that much to ask for Martinez to score an own goal and suffer a career ending leg break at the same time?? Jeez, cut us some slack already.

Fucking robbed. But fair play for this absolute battering of them, even with this cobbled together side. When we finally work out how to put the ball away we're going to absolutely smash a few. We'll get there.

The squad wasn't ever going to get overhauled in one window. The injuries have forced these players onto the pitch and most are not up to it.
Not sure today is evidence that these players aren't good enough. Bentancur and Gio both played very well. The others have proved their worth as squad players. We've deserved to win against 5th in the table just not taken the chances. On another day we win this easily

Dirty. Cheating. SCUM.

No respect for them after that. They know what they were doing with poor officiating and technology helping them along the way 🤬🤬

Once again a setback when things are on the up leads to us losing the game. Complete loser mentality and it will seemingly never change.
No-one is looking for perspective on the match day thread but it really is early days. Perhaps the good start has given people too much in the way of false expectation.

Investigate the fucking referee's. 6 games in a row we're kicked off the pitch and another key player injured turning the game.

Expected us to lose and will lose to City as well. This team lacks balance without full starting 11, and even then could use more goalscoring ability in front 3.

I thought Ange gives youth a chance?

You're telling me Donley wouldn't have been a better option than Skipp/PEH?

The games only get tougher & tougher, unfortunately we’re going to keep on sliding down the table at this rate

I think we are too. Given most had zero expectation this season, it doesn't really matter in a way. We're on the up in general so I can live it.

It's a very mixed message going out to our youth players on the fringes.
Yes, but I also think Ange would have given at least Donley a run out if Bentancur was not injured. I think today will be Hojbjerg's last chance though. I fucking hope.

They'll get their opportunities.

Still in the process of Ange formulating opinions on players - case in point is Lo Celso who enhanced his credentials for a future here for sure.

Donley, Dorrington et al will get their chance - this isn't the game to be criticising Ange on.
