Such a huge game - hope we rise to the occasion like when we needed to win at Man City to clinch CL under Redknapp; Crouchie bagged the winner. COYS.

They have a (hopefully gruelling) trip to the Netherlands to face Ajax in the Europa Conference on Thursday which will impact their preparation for a 1pm kick off on the Sunday. We need to exploit this and start fast but it has not been a strength of ours recently but four of the last five games have been against defensive teams and, Everton apart we have had trouble breaking them down in the first half. Maybe with Villa going for it we can find more space. We have a near fully fit squad and we need to be bang up for this game because defeat would leave us eight points adrift of Villa with games rapidly running out. It is imperative that the gap remains the same or decreases by the end of the match on Sunday. I foresee us finishing this game strongly and that strong finish will yield us three massive points. Aston Villa 1 Tottenham Hotspur 3. COYS!

Intrigued to see how we play against a side that gives us a little more room to play in. It's been a hard slog for us over the last few weeks with all these teams sitting so deep.

Agree this feels like a different sort of challenge to the ones we have faced in the last few weeks. The Villa fans will be up for this, and, I imagine, will expect their team to play on the front foot. Hopefully this will give us more space in the attacking areas to create.

I am way ahead of you. I bought so many gifts and took my mother out to dinner already that I am excused from the usual meeting this Sunday. I obviously out-manoeuvred my siblings as well, so I am definitely going to win Mother's Day this year.
