Not against PEH being in there. Bit more discipline to be honest as a 6 than Biss albeit with more limitations in passing.

Kulu getting the nod over Johnson is OK for this as Kulu holds the ball a bit better. Johnson is a great asset off the bench.

Would be happy for us to invert just Porro and leave Davies more defensive. I think we need to be more cautious against these teams.

Sad that Richy is not starting again as I think he can rough up Saliba and Gabriel. I think we will see a very quiet display from Son. I can almost see Werner getting hooked at half time for Richy.......

Yeah been dropped alot recently. Strange.

He's perfect for breaking up play
Probably has a niggle or they are managing his minutes. I think we are starting Hojberg because Ange thinks we could get over ran in midfield

Having the speed of Johnson to bring on could also be very effective in the later stages.
Looks like the plan is hold them for the first half and then go for it with the subs. Would expect them to sit back as that seems to be what we struggle with. They are not extra quick up front.

Merson looks like the special needs kid who got sat next to the smart Dawson in school to try help

Just seen it's hojbjerg and bentancur i think that's a massive mistake in this game. We're gonna be stood off them on the edge of box.

I know bissouma has been bad but we needed his and sarrs aggression in this one.

I am surprised Sarr isn’t playing.

Hopefully it’s one of those derbies where on paper and form there’s a clear mis-match but the underdog follows their habit of getting an unexpected result.

I am surprised Sarr isn’t playing.

If we weren’t reliant on Maddison being our only source of creativity despite being woeful out of form, I would have liked to have seen a trio of Sarr, Bentancur and Hojbjerg. Those 3 have a bit of everything.

I was surprisingly relaxed about today ( at least compared to other NLD - probably due to expectation), but seeing Merson has raised my blood pressure and now I’m fucking desperate to see his face if we get a result.

Haven't watched any of the build up but see a lot of talk about Merson, what's he said other than ramble incoherently and make everyone who had to listen dumber because of it?

Just don’t get humiliated at our home turf. Give it a proper go. Be brave. Look like you want it.

We’ve had two weeks to prepare for this. Arsenal have played 4 matches during that period. Looking scared to death and losing 0-4 isn’t acceptable.
