Waiting could well make a huge difference.

- We've either sold half our squad in recent times without more than one solitary replacement or we haven't.
- We either made a ton of cash in the PL and then in making the CL final, or we didn't.
- We either posted world-record profits before the CL campaign, or we didn't.
- We either just signed a massive sponsorship deal, or we didn't.
- We've either got a huge uplift in gate receipts to look forward to, or we haven't.
- DL either said that player purchases would be unaffected by the stadium costs, or he didn't.

Joe Lewis may well give us 'nothing' but there seems to be a whole load of cash being made elsewhere that rarely makes its way to the team. There's no shame in being a bit skint after building such an amazing stadium but front up and say so, rather than act completely against what the facts suggest.

We've had ITK that Poch is pissed over this, we've seen a presser with him clearly unhappy and backing that up. Promises were clearly made to the manager in the face of competition for his signature from the worlds elite clubs. IF Levy stacks Lo Celso up over a few quid then the consequences could easily be us looking for a new manager in 9 months. The guy is too principled to be screwed over constantly.

Let's hope we do land GLC and in fact, rainbows & butterflies shine out of DL's arse on a daily basis, as some seem to believe. If not, there's going to be problems the like Levy hasn't yet seen, on & off the pitch.

Either way, away from the playground name calling & sarcasm, anybody who thinks we are acting like an ambitious club needs to be locked away in a rubber room. Levy is not backing Poch, and I personally think he will leave next Summer if this continues to happen.

I have not read the upping of price anywhere. I’ve probably missed it. I’ve heard the terms have changed twice.

This imo may be as simple as amount up front, duration of payment or sell on?

Could have sworn it was mentioned on here by someone that Betis had fucked us about with Janssen either last year or the year before ... (not 100% as you read so much on here I may have gotten the club wrong)

Get GLC and keep Toby and Eriksen and it’s been an exceptional window. Not perfect, but as good as anything I can remember as a Spurs fan.

I agree with you 100% mate. My only concern is that Eriksen and Toby will leave on free transfers next Summer meaning we've potentially lost £100 million. If we sign Lo Celso then tie Eriksen & Toby to new deals then It'll be amazing.
