Get GLC and keep Toby and Eriksen and it’s been an exceptional window. Not perfect, but as good as anything I can remember as a Spurs fan.

Just need to get this one over the line and we’ll be in great shape.

Only if it's new contracts for Toby and Eriksen.
If not then it puts us in a weaker position because next summer they walk and replacements will cost 30% more.

Well that’s the reality of being a big football club. Good players will sometimes run their contracts down and leave. I think we’ll see that more and more with the way transfer fees are going now.

I agree with you 100% mate. My only concern is that Eriksen and Toby will leave on free transfers next Summer meaning we've potentially lost £100 million. If we sign Lo Celso then tie Eriksen & Toby to new deals then It'll be amazing.

Toby won’t sign a new deal now, and I don’t think Eriksen will either. Eriksen might as well wait a year and see what options are on the table for him. As a free agent, he’ll get a move to a massive club and earn a shitload in the process.

If we sign Lo Celso then he can be his replacement. We are already covered in that position as Lamela & Alli can also play behind Kane.

Last season we were looking at Grealish in addition to Eriksen. If we get rid of Eriksen I’d want Lo Celso and someone else not just Lo Celso that’s just one for one.

We’re becoming the new arsenal (Fabregas, Van Persia, Ramsey). I honestly thought we were ran better and used to laugh smuggly at them mugs for allowing themselves to get into that position

I've always found the sell on fee to PSG to be what separates the people I'll believe more than others. Any twitter account saying PSG are due 20% of the fee can't know much about the deal itself and are surely misunderstanding the source they've just read.

It only makes financial sense for Betis that the sell on clause would be 20% of the fee beyond what Betis paid PSG for Lo Celso i.e. anything above the £22m they bought him for. It would be utter stupidity for it to include 20% of the money they have already paid, as they could feasible lose money even by selling him for a figure above £22m. No business would do that deal and hardly like PSG had them over a barrel.

The Betis forum ITK even says 'surplus'. That's info that makes actual sense, and for me, more of an insight into this deal than flipping Ricky Sacks or some other random twitter profile.

Maybe Lo Celso really wants to link up with Tripps.

Also, why has Sacks taken his account private?
Because he's a regurgitating (sorry aggregating) twat who not only editorialises things he regurgitates (sorry aggregates), he also retweets *himself* for meaningless internet points. And recently he's getting called out more and more for both.

Him and LastWordOnSpurs are 2 of the worst accounts on Twitter.

Doesn't even have to wait a year, he can sign a pre-contract with any foreign club in 5 months time.

I'm glad he isn't going in strike to force a move. Shows his character and we all know that's important to Poch. I'm confident we will get him.

PLEASE can people stop posting stuff from Ricky Sacks. I know I bang on about it but he takes no interest in whether a source is reliable or not, and he never reads the articles himself so we don’t know if what he tweets is even accurate. At the very least can people pls find the original article and post it.

Absolutely. I also think there is a danger that fans are overestimating the impact of signing Lo Celso.

Eriksen may not be truly top tier galactico level, but he’s still a top class player and one of the best in the PL. Lo Celso may never reach his level, but even if he did it certainly won’t be immediately.

Plus Eriksen had a stellar injury record meaning we were hardly ever without him.

Whilst respecting the ITK, which is why we’re all on here, we are always told to take with a pinch of salt. So I do. They can only pass on the info they are fed with in good faith. If Hercs is told all agreed with a couple of players and he believes that’s a great source. He passes it on, thankfully. That really doesn’t mean that info is accurate or presents reality. That’s the salt bit. That’s what makes this site so good. But we can question how accurate the original source of that info is. If Levy didn’t have consistent history I may agree with you. But seriously we can open our eyes and see. Why else would Poch decide to kick off as he did last year when he was left with no investment in the team. A team utterly shattered as proved by performances and results in the premiership in 2019.

I’ve had an opportunity to meet and chat with Poch. I’ve seen how others around the club interact with him; the body language. I’ve looked into that guy’s eyes. The one thing you get is an honesty, passion and seemingly strong principles. He really is something else. He really engaged with me. Someone who means nothing to him and has no consequence to his success. Yet he was interested in my thoughts. I’ve also met Levy. I’ll leave that experience private. So yes I’m far more confident laying my full support & loyalty to Poch (and Spurs) and happy to stick with my beliefs that Levy is at fault for how Poch may feel.
Best post of the window by miles. That first paragraph is absolutely bang on.

I agree with you on Eriksen. I don’t see that with Alderweireld because he is getting paid way less than his market value. We made the money back in salary the past few years. We were only offered 18M for him. I would rather keep him for the year and let him go to Ajax next year if that is what he wants.

I think I speak for everyone when I say: What did Poch smell like?
