Ball needs to start rolling in January in terms off sorting this squad out. Clear we have too many who are simply not good enough or just coasting. Tired of waiting for them to come good. Think a lot of these will see the curtain come down on their time with us by the end of next summer with Conte here.

He needs to be fucking ruthless on Sunday. Play the u23s with the exception of 2/3, utter fucking disgrace these players

Kane absolutely included. So was fucking trrrible aswell.

Fuck this squad, fuck them to the pits of hell
I think some of the youngsters need some morale-boosting talk behind the scenes from Conte to get ready taking over some of the first teamers. They won't be that bad I am sure and the commitment level is at least 200%.

Seriously needs some new blood in the squad instead of relying on that few given far too many chances.

Copied from Twitter:

Mura, a club from a village of 11,000, didn't even exist a decade ago. They were formed in 2011 and are the lowest ranked team in the Conference League. They rank 5th in the Slovenian division and have just beat Spurs with Kane and co. A sad reality check.

We don't need to replace 75%
No. Its about 40%
Alli, Ndombele, Doherty, Davies, Rodon, Lo Celso, Winks, Dier.
Sess may have to go as well as he looks like another 30m pissed up the wall.
Golini has only just got here but looks below average as well imo.
We need a back up striker. STILL.
What we need to do imo is replace these players with better players than those in the starting 11, with the exception of Kane, so our back up is ok and our first 11 is quality.

Guys, as Vitesse technically beat us on HTH (more away goals), are we out of the competition unless Mura get a result in Holland gw6?

Agree but not on Kane.

He was putting it in but he was running through treacle due to the heavy pitch and the amount of minutes he has to play.

A lot of the others can get fucked

Many people on here said the players were the issue for what feels like years now. Everyone said it was Jose or Nuno. They aren't good enough, we have to gut this squad

Is definitely embarrassing being a Spurs fan, but such results are actually common in sports. Instead of focussing on us being piss poor, which we really were, but where credits were due, Mura played with such commitment won them the game and that should be applauded as well.

If Conte wants to achieve anything in the 18 months he's contracted to us then it won't be with the youngsters I'm afraid. Id love to be proven wrong of course but unless we get proven, seasoned players to hit the ground running its going to be much more of what we've seen thus far.

No, think they’ve done away with that in UEFA. They’ve done away with away goals in two legged games as well I think.

Agree, but even if it is just for this coming December, I rather trust players like Markanday and White then Dele/Winks/Doherty

Article 16 Equality of points – group stage

16.01
If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied in the order given to determine their rankings:
  1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
  2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
  3. higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;
  4. if, after having applied criteria a) to c), teams still have an equal ranking, criteria a) to c) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the remaining teams to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria e) to k) apply in the order given to the two or more teams still equal;
  5. superior goal difference in all group matches;
  6. higher number of goals scored in all group matches;
  7. higher number of away goals scored in all group matches;
  8. higher number of wins in all group matches;
  9. higher number of away wins in all group matches;
  10. lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received by players and team officials in all group matches (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points);
  11. higher club coefficient (see Annex D).

Stay ahead of Vitesse on goal difference then we qualify. Reckon we only do that if we go full strength.

Point 4 from above refers to a situation where 3 teams are level on point I think. Took me a while to get my head around it.
