It ain’t pretty but it’s working.
Baby steps, let’s give him the money for the summer and see what he’s capable of delivering.

We can't catch Chelski.

No but Leicester can drop. I do not expect Spurs to finish 5th, but I think if Sheffield United lose or draw once, Wolves lose or draw once and Leiecester lose out while Spurs win the next two, we could finish 5th.

Happy with that. 3rd game in under a week and I was so surprised aurier started. That takes some effort after such a tragic incident.

Also spurs since mourinho came in is 4th in form . Basically if the season started when mourinho was in we would be 4th and we had a massive spell with loads of injuries . If he keeps this going and with a couple of signings, next season should be an even bigger improvement.

He has done well, it's not always pretty but hasn't always been for his previous teams and those teams have won things. That would be nice.

Happy for the 3 points but I don’t think I’ll ever get on board with the awful brand of football.
I don't see how people are saying this is so awful? Yes, our passing could be better and that would open up a lot of options but it's not like we are just booting it long. The tactics are not the problem with why our attack is slowed down. It's the terrible passing in midfield.

I think people have it stuck in their head that Jose is boring and that is all they can see when Spurs play now.

Good win, nice to close out the season with this good run. If we could finish 5th or 6th I think that is a pretty good achievement considering where we were when he took over and the doom and gloom surrounding the club.

Give him 3/4 players this summer and lets go for something big next season (I am looking at you league cup)

A 3-1 win away from home, against a side that haven’t lost there since last year, and the complaint is that it wasn’t “pretty?”

The bottom of that barrel must be spotless by now with all that scraping.

I don’t think today it was awful at all actually.
Sure it’s not peps man.city but it was fine, definitely watchable and very effective :)
Do you really think it was that bad?
We had some nice spells of possession, our attacks are a real mixture of threats from open play, set pieces, crosses, through balls, counter attacks. It’s very different to what we are used to and its more of a mid to low block so naturally a little less high pressing, intensity and possession but I thought today was really quite fine.
COYS.

I see what I see and it is neither pretty or encouraging. We lacked composure most of the times. Mostly by passing the ball to the opposition or into no mans land, seemingly afraid to keep the ball under pressure, or marking them too closely knowing that they are going to go down and get a free kick. Sort that out then we wont look too bad.

That's not down to the manager or the "brand" of football.

Agree.

Its probably about as good and exciting as we can now get with this current group of players.

If you swapped Aurier, Davies, Winks, Sissoko for prime walker, rose, dembele and Eriksen you’d be watching an entirely different team and intensity. It was really quite fine to watch tonight. Jose will know what we Need to improve.

when he went to Chelsea 2nd time round he brought in Courtious, Fabregas and Costa, for us we really need an upgrade on RB, a DM, a more creative CM, another AM option and a back up striker. Get 4/5 of those and we’ll slowly see a much different team.

I'm a lot happier when the performance isn't the absolute best and we still come out with a nice win, than playing really well and dropping points.

The more wins we can string together, the confidence will start to return in the players. Lets not forget this squad has been through a piss poor end to a season, a losing CL final, a piss poor start to a season and then the manager who they owe a lot to got sacked because the performances were dreadful.
