I think we need him or Willian more than we need Moutinho at the minute.
I agree but AVB wants to switch to his prefered 433 than Moutinho or similar is what we need in midfield, I'd prefer us to play 4231 but I'm not the manager

I'm not so sure that, having done a fair amount of research on Holtby, that a trio of him, Dembele and Sandro wouldn't actually be pretty ideal in a midfield trio.

With this in mind, I would actually now be actively surprised if we spent that kind of money on Moutinho. We need an attacker much more desperately

I'm not so sure. AVB has had ample opportunity to switch to 433 already this season. Carroll, Parker, Sandro, Hudd, Dembele, Livermore have all been available at various times. I'm pretty sure he's quite keen on the 4231.

I'd actually prefer us to switch to 433, even if we don't get Moutinho because i think it would suit Dembele more. But I'm not holding my breath.

Would love Isco, no matter what formation we play.

Isco has also played alot on the wing coming inside and causing havoc

TBH I think AVB has reluctant to switch to 433 because of the fact we have been light in midfield and he doesnt want to drop experienced players like dempsey for someone like Carroll, which is a shame really

I agree. Once we have a 3rd central midfield player of good quality (be in Moutinho/Holtby) then he'll most likely adopt to 4-3-3. Bale is perfect as one of the wide inside forwards, Lennon not so much. He's more of a supporting wide midfielder (I play too much FM :p). Isco would be perfect to complement Bale on the other side.

Where we ever really linked to Isco or was it more a flight of fancy? If we could get ether him or Götze then we would have a very VERY good midfield. Not that we will get ether but one can fantasise.

Surely Isco is waiting on one of the Spanish giants. He's progressed to that kind of level hasn't he?

We had the chance to do at the beginning of the season we offered £8million plus dos santos on deadline day they were rumoured to want £12million at the beginning of the window, we chose to sign Dempsey instead:(

I hope Levy watches this kid play next season in CL for a team in hunt for the trophy, he also won the youth player of the year in europe. Also AS reported Broomfield was the one that had the dossier on him and suggested him

NO! they dont need him and Malaga wouldnt sell to Spanish team as they think the Sheikh will pump money in to the club once he finishes his coastline project

I think you are right BC, I think AVB has looked at our squad and thought that was the best way to utilise our current squad, I am not sure he is stuck obsessed on 433, and is a more flexible coach than some think.

You lot all seem to desperate to replace Lennon this season despite the fact he's been one of the most consistent players in the prem this season.

Its not about replacing him, I nthink most of us get a buzz when he is playing like he is at the moment. I think it is more about having a replacement for when he's not on form, [when he can be totaly lost in a game] or when he or Bale are injured or suspended. Also as a sub when we need to rest them in games.

This transfer is never going to happen, he has bigger clubs going after him now. :(

There are plenty of games in the season to rotate 3 top quality wingers. As you said, drop in form and injuries happen. Right now we're stuffed for replacements.

He isnt a out and out winger but someone that can play across the 3 and do well in every position, he is a player where the team is better off with him on the pitch and it doesnt matter where he plays like Mata for Chelsea.

Also Hunter has just said they have to pay the Creditors by March or face another year ban, so either the fullback or Isco is likely to be sold as a result

Chelsea loaned Piazon to Malaga
Paris loaned Lugano to Malaga

It seems they are all trying to get love from the Malaga Chairman for a possible Isco Deal. At the end he is going to Bayern (hopefully)

I hope he does go PSG or Bayern, because it seems clear we wont be spending that kind of money on him as I still think we have a chance tbh just not the cash
