Yes this is not a site for sharing opinions. It has become like the vast majority of social media forums, just a shouting block for a particular viewpoint and best avoided by others
You were one of those people trying to make a point after 1) beating one of our bitter rivals last Sunday 2) going back to the top of the league and 3) suggesting we're more like bread and water rather than a roast dinner ...

We all have opinions, my opinions are just as shite as the next mans, it doesn't stop me from posting them, but it sometimes helps humble me when I am making a point that in this current moment, really doesn't stand up.

Not true.

Posters on both sides of the argument have expressed their opinions equally forcefully. It just happens to be the case that, at the moment, one side of the argument has many more advocates than the other. We are currently on an excellent run of form but, if results take a turn for the worse, you can bet your house on the fact that others who are currently lying low will come out of the woodwork - and the majority opinion will then flip.

Perhaps we are all guilty, on occasion, of being overly sensitive to opposing opinions. But so long as the argument doesn't become ad hominem, there's no case to answer.

This is absolutely the forum for sharing your opinion. It is not the forum for getting sulky because a lot of people disagree with you and point out that maybe its more of an opinion generated through an agenda than fact when it appears as we go top of the league beating Arsenal in the process and dropping them to 15th and a crisis. That is a moment all spurs fans have been dreaming of as long as I have been alive.

And i'm not 12 that's 36 years worth of dreaming.

I think it's quite simple, don't attack others whilst stating an opinion in the minority then people won't attack you.

That's just simply not true.

You're recent posts have been disagreed with because they aren't really based on any sort of factual information.

You want or expect the team to play a certain way, "The Tottenham Way". Well that style and way of playing has been one of winning absolutely zero over the last decade, and very little in the 20 years before that. A lot of people who aren't happy with our "style" right now are very much Jose haters, Poch apologists.

So I think if others are happy that we look like we finally have a backbone, a couple of world class players, and a really strong effective system that is working in both attack and defence, then they should be allowed to be happy with it.

This preconception of Jose that everything will fall apart is loosely based off two clubs where player power has been king. That's never been the case at Spurs, none of ours have ever won a thing apart from Lloris so they haven't got a pot to piss in if they throw their toys out and want their own way.

Watching us, every single one of those players who are playing(barring a select few, not going to name names) are clearly buying into Jose, if you cant see that then I'm afraid you are blinded by your hate for him.

Im not really sure what you expect.

If you post unpopular opinions which aren't factually precise, people will disagree and in your case ridicule them.
No-ones saying not to post, you haven't been banned or reported for your posts.
Your problem is you're getting upset because very few people agree with you, ever wondered why that is?

Getting back to the football, with regards to the subs.I said to my son last night that I didn't mind them coming on, as due to playing twice a week the training schedule would be out the window and a 30 minute run about with a bit of intensity would keep them match sharp. Sorry for interrupting the thread with some thoughts on the match.

The thing is, you sound like one of the season ticket holders who sits around me every home game and just moans and moans and moans, doesn’t sing and just comes to chat with his mates. Hopefully you aren’t like that but that’s what you sound like to me. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve supported the club if this is your persona. It drives me fucking mad at home matches and soon will stop me going. It’s more of a turn off than bad and losing football, I’ve seen enough of that in my 33 years supporting spurs.

I agree with you to an extent about having a different opinion on SC than the majority, it changed this year and I fully suspect lockdown is behind it and people‘s frustrations. But one thing you shouldn’t be frustrated with is the direction the club is going. I’d say I probably haven’t enjoyed or been exhilarated watching us in the main for 2 years, until this season. Honestly if you can’t enjoy us being top of the league or not losing games (we’ve lost 3 games in all competitions since lockdown ended) then I don’t know what you want from the club. I don’t want another 12 years of not winning anything, I know that.
Try going to a Seattle Seahawks game at Century Link Field.
3 hours of screaming, standing and lots of moaning.
Admittedly, me watching Spurs at home on a Sunday isn't all that different. But, at least it's just the poor wife, son and dog that have to put up with it!!
