I do not understand that substitution whatsoever. We’ve created nothing and taken off our only creative player for a striker?

Its why he's not good enough overall.

He's decent in some aspects but overall he's just not good enough but many seem to think he's underrated.

Have never understood that.

He is decent as worker in a 3 man midfield doing the running, covering but in a midfield like this where he is expected to be the guy to put his foot on the ball he is a disaster.

Our system needs a player like Bissouma or Sarr who are confortable at the base running, passing and taking the ball under pressure, Hojbjerg can’t do any of that.

I agree with the first point but the most important midfielder for us right now is Bissouma. Believe he could partner up with any of them and we would still look decent.

Usual stuff. Play an under strength team and get dumped out of a cup competition we're quite capable of winning.
Why play such a weakened team? We've only played 3 games for christsake, and chances are we won't be playing another cup-tie until January.
These guys are not in the first team for a reason __they're not good enough. Bring one in, maybe 2, but 9 changes!!
