Welcome to the Fulham vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!
Destiny and VdV?
Obviously VDV must be one, not sure on the other.Destiny and VdV?
Ali said no point in naming names because many players are managing little knocks at this time of year, and we’ll know more after the presser tomorrow.Destiny and VdV?
True, but Villa are the best team in the PL in first halves - in fact if the league table only took into account results at half time then Villa would be top.For all Tottenham's swashbuckling attacking in the second half vs Aston Villa, they are becoming slow starters in matches. They had just one shot in the first half at Villa Park and failed to score, meaning they've failed to score in five of their last six first halves. And only had 25 shots in those six first halves, works out at just over four per game which is very low for a team chasing Europe.
Out of interest do you have a second half table? Reckon we'd definitely be topping that.True, but Villa are the best team in the PL in first halves - in fact if the league table only took into account results at half time then Villa would be top.

Now they are heading to a tricky away game to play a Fulham team that have conceded the fewest goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches this season, just one.
Second half should be fun ... as long as we stay composed and focused like against Villa... then I can live with swashbuckling second halves.
Such clickbait to get people worried. This is why I don't like aggregators. Even Gold if he didn't name anyone has been baity here by saying this. He knows the majority of this fanbase worries over any little thing.
Games are not 100% won in the first half. Does it help to have a quick start? Sure. But you can still lose games with a decent half time lead. Just see Luton v Bournemouth. Games are generally settled in the second half, so this doesn't bother me one bit. Nor does it bother Ange. For all Tottenham's swashbuckling attacking in the second half vs Aston Villa, they are becoming slow starters in matches.
