Villa's remaining games

3 home games that are winnable for them but they also have 3 exteremely tough away games.

They then have Chelsea, Brighton and Liverpool in a 3 game sequence.

They will need to rediscover their form they had just before xmas if they are to get much.

Meanwhile, we have some games where, if we turn it on, can get some points on board before the tough run we have.
...to add.

They don't play any of Forest, Everton, Luton, Burnley and Sheff Utd as they already have.

We still have 4 of those 5.

Whoever said that they were in a 'false position' before is spot on. Those games have bumped them up, while we have played tougher games in that period.

We've got to play Liverpool Arsenal and Man City but then again so what, who cares 😊

So have Villa but 2 of those are away for them. We play 2 at home.

If we beat what they do in those 3 and win the games against the bottom 4. It puts us in a very strong position.

Love our away support.

"Are you West Ham in disguise?"
"4-0 in you cup final!"

Both these made me chuckle and lots of great shouts for the goalscorers. Shut the Villa fans up very quickly 2nd half!

Great result! Maybe I should miss 2nd halves more often after seeing that scoreline! I saw 1st half very even and was never good thinking about it during a family meal I couldn't avoid. When I saw the scoreline had to double take, estatic and must have played on their tiredness from Thursday. Gotta love your team when they show up like this, superb!

If it wasn't Cash, it had to be McGinn both as bad as each other! Good to see both on the end of a hiding and McGinn always dishing it out to our players over the years. He can now go back to his role as of Sloth from the Goonies COYS!!

Excellent performance and result, fantastic to see a group of players playing for each other and the club again.

Last few seasons have generally felt like players were going through the motions or trying to get out. Genuinely don't get that feeling anymore, feels like all the players are pleased to be here and want to succeed for the club.

Great result for us , start of a Villa collapse maybe and them dropping down the table out of the top four.
Great to see the goals being shared around the team and not just relying on one man as we have done in seasons past.
Pity we can't play in all white again next week , it does look good , hope we are not going to wear the diarrhoea strip against Fulham

Excellent result!

Johnson (game of the season for us) and Sar outstanding and the back four really didn't really miss a beat with Romero and Mickey pretty much running things.

Sarr and Bissouma ran the midfield and Son, Kulu and Madders worked their nuts off.

May have been against ten men, but we are not responsible for a spoilt child that thought that three points was an automatic for them.

Can't understand why Watkins didn't start for them?

Clean sheet was welcome. Great teams are built on strong defences. Villa game plan (first half at least) seemed to be go long and try to isolate Romero or VDV one on one - good luck with that!

Having moved from the US to London 6 months, one of the first families we met, were Spurs Fans. We have become very good friends with them and they have been very good to our boy. The dad is quite ill at the minute and is in hospital. The result gave him a well deserved boost under a very trying time for him. COYS

Sarr would never be my choice to bring off.
Not only on a yellow but been struggling with a back injury and the game was pretty much won - when else would you protect your best players?

So so good in 2nd half. This one is on Ange tbf.
The Argentine commentator was waxing lyrical for the most of the second half - 'Tottenham are a finely-tuned orchestra with not even one instrument off key, led by a consummate conductor in Ange'. They kept going back to the tweaks he made after half time to up our game, they were mightily impressed by Ange today!
