Now they want Özil out i've been going to his restaurant again. It helps that Likya is the the best Turkish in north London too.
He was also interviewed by David Ornstein for his podcast and the questions were a mix of the bizarre and the sycophantic. At one point he asked Wenger if he had cried since he left Arsenal? There was a Wenger interview special on Totally Football this week. All of James Richardson's jokes went straight over his head. It was a decent enough interview other than that.

For the record I do have a lot of time for Wenger.
Yeah I subscribe to the Ornstein and Chapman pos but after listening to Richardson's interview I'm giving that episode a hard pass.He was also interviewed by David Ornstein for his podcast and the questions were a mix of the bizarre and the sycophantic. Just reading that Arsenal paid Ozil an £8m loyalty bonus in September for not looking to leave.
No wonder he was happy to pay to keep Gunnersauras ???
Has Ozil been ostracised because he spoke up for the Uighurs in China causing Chinese backed companies to boycott Arsenal?

Never had sympathy for an Arsenal player. Until now.
His form has fluctuated (or been outright shit), he's been lazy and wasted the last few seasons, but Özil's proven himself to be a kind and generous person. Yes, he earns ridiculous money, but there are far richer people doing far less with their millions, and I fail to see how anyone could criticise an individual for helping others, no matter how much they earn or if it's "to look good."
Stay classy, Arsenal.
He's best mates with Erdoğan. Hard pass on the sympathy from me.Never had sympathy for an Arsenal player. Until now.

That's fair - I'm not familiar with their friendship and only read a few bits about how "nice" the Turkish president is, so can only base my judgement on what I know. He's best mates with Erdoğan. Hard pass on the sympathy from me.
