I watched seven seconds of that.

The last four seconds of it were inadvertent though, because in my desperate attempts to make the cringe stop, the mouse slipped out my hand. In the end, I just smashed the laptop against the desk.

It was easier that way.

There was a Wenger interview special on Totally Football this week. All of James Richardson's jokes went straight over his head. It was a decent enough interview other than that.
He was also interviewed by David Ornstein for his podcast and the questions were a mix of the bizarre and the sycophantic. At one point he asked Wenger if he had cried since he left Arsenal?
For the record I do have a lot of time for Wenger.

Yeah I subscribe to the Ornstein and Chapman pos but after listening to Richardson's interview I'm giving that episode a hard pass.

Has Ozil been ostracised because he spoke up for the Uighurs in China causing Chinese backed companies to boycott Arsenal?

Wenger was a great coach, but my good he sounds like a boring fellow. You can tell why his team just became an echo chamber for his more extreme beliefs about the game.

Never had sympathy for an Arsenal player. Until now.

His form has fluctuated (or been outright shit), he's been lazy and wasted the last few seasons, but Özil's proven himself to be a kind and generous person. Yes, he earns ridiculous money, but there are far richer people doing far less with their millions, and I fail to see how anyone could criticise an individual for helping others, no matter how much they earn or if it's "to look good."

Stay classy, Arsenal.

Make you wonder as he played every game under Arteta before the corona-enforced break and since they’ve come back hasn’t even made the bench.

Very odd.

I'm not sure. He's said before that he's lost his motivation to play football. If he's not putting in the effort in training then he won't get picked.

Edit - I can't seem to find any quotes about this, maybe it was someone else saying it about him?

He's best mates with Erdoğan. Hard pass on the sympathy from me.

That's fair - I'm not familiar with their friendship and only read a few bits about how "nice" the Turkish president is, so can only base my judgement on what I know.

Exactly, I don’t see Ozil saying anything about the human rights violations committed by Turkey, the Armenian genocide, suppression of Kurds etc.
