Not your finest moment on here this.
He's a fine striker but other than that he brings nothing to the table. Which means other players have to step up and contribute and give him opportunities.

Lacazette, Pepe lack the ability and consistency.
Ozil should be that player but isn't favoured.
Saka is still young and can't carry that burden.

Aubameyang doesn't do anything outside of the penalty area, he's not particularly good at link up play or dribbling, he's a run in behind type of striker and it was ridiculous to rest all their hopes and finances on him.

All of which makes it very odd that Arteta has suddenly decided to turn him into a winger...

Here's a list of teams who have lost more Premier League games than Arsenal so far this season

1. Fulham
2. Sheffield United

And, err, that's it.

And yet the media, most of whom are ex Arsenal to be fair, continue to sing Artetas praises at every opportunity, preaching what a great job he's doing and how he's turned them around and got them playing. You can see what he's building there. Exciting times ahead, blah blah blah.
And theres me looking at the results since he started and thinking wtf are you on about?
Long may it continue.
What really pisses me off is we have been better than them for so long and yet we've nothing to show for it and that cluster fk of a team somehow won the fa cup! How? They're shite.

How did Partey play, any idea?
Defensively I thought he did well but then again Leicester had no real threat first half. Vardy and Under cane on and Arsenal lost control and were getting pulled more.

I still don't understand why their fans went over the top with his signing, granted they need a better defensive midfielder but they still lack a playmaker or box to box midfielder who can score.

Their Partey signing was similar to our Hojbjerg one. Important and gives you a better platform but you need players in their to compliment them.

We have Lo Celso, Ndombele and Alli, plus our front 6 options.

They have Xhaka and Ceballos and that's about it, yet neither of those mentioned are able to get in between the lines and transition quickly. Ceballos looks like he's capable but I always feel his movement on the ball isn't the best - moves a bit slow whereas Xhaka is very ordinary.

Thankfully they missed out on Aouar because him alongside Thomas would have given them much more solidity and threat. With Thomas they just got solidity but it's only truly effective when you have creative players ahead.

I’ve sat next to people like that many times at the Lane. It makes me cringe, particularly when they are with their kids. How can people be so out of control of their emotions and understanding of their surroundings?
