He's a bit of a weird on isn't he Ozil, can't be calling out China and then show public support of his best mate Erdogan, hard to feel sorry for him - Arsenal obviously leaving him out of the team to distance themselves from his comments but still.

I mean he’s not wrong about China and Uighurs is he, I wish more people would speak out about that to be honest, but I suspect most public figures are shit scared of losing lucrative endorsements etc from Chinese companies or indeed companies wanting to do business in China. Look at how EA pandered to the brutal regime by removing Ozil from FIFA in China.

I mean that should have been a massive PR blunder for EA in the west, but it wasn’t.

Doesn’t excuse him being pally with another despot, but then two wrongs don’t make a right etc.

watch them put in a £10m bid for him in January, it would be funny as it’s such a Spam signing, but also quite annoying letting Arse off the hook.

Every time I see Arteta this quote pops into my head from Jaws:
'he’s got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll’s eyes.'

Have they? Wow...

Özil is a prick, but to leave him out of the Premier League squad is pretty amazing. I hope he sits tight and leaves when his contract is up.

“Regarding the comments made by Mesut Özil on social media, Arsenal must make a clear statement,” it read. “The content published is Özil’s personal opinion. As a football club, Arsenal has always adhered to the principle of not involving itself in politics.”

Stupid club.

Hypocrites. Actually worse than hypocrites, they are shills for an oppressive regime that puts people in concentration camps.

No idea what’s going on in Nigeria, so I’m not saying they shouldn’t support what’s going on, but they shouldn’t have distanced themselves from what Ozil said.

They were all over #BlackLivesMatter as well, which drew quite a bit of fire at the time after they distanced themselves from Ozil's comments.

It's all about money for that club. They choose which social issues to speak out against, they choose to fire scouts and employees, they choose to freeze out their highest paid player hoping he would cancel his contract and save them money. Just an all around disgraceful club.

So Aubameyang signed 3 year deal on £250k per week.
To be fair, that is good business for them.

Allegedly he turned down 2 offers from unnamed big clubs (according to Sky).
Undoubtedly the best striker in the League

Not your finest moment on here this.
