Chelsea have spent over 180m and are massively short in midfield and striker. I'm not sure it's as easy as people make out.
I don't get why we keep looking at what others are doing as some sort of barometer for what we do, especially Chelsea. Every window posters like you pick a club and use it to prove your point as to why things are so difficult. Every window however it's a different club that's used. Why is that do you think? I'll tell you why because it's a different club every window that is struggling to get certain deals done, yet we are the constant.

If you think we've done well this window so be it, but do you not think we could and should have done more?

Every window there are numerous excuses as to why we've left our selves short. The problem is in the first two word of this paragraph. It's EVERY WINDOW.

It isn't easy, it never is! It isn't however always as difficult as we make it.

This is the first deadline day in years where we've not had multiple sources tell us it's "all done" around 6pm.
The sources probably fell asleep.

I think its a good window anyway, we strenghted were we needed with Porro and Danjuma. Don’t know why people getting upset for not getting Zaniolo who is both injury prone and avarage as best. A cb would make the window 10/10 for me.

If we'd gone for Hincapie earlier, there's every chance we could have got him.
It seems like his club were open to letting him go but ran out of time to get a replacement in.
Not at the price they were quoting. 80 mil for him? I’m not convinced on him at all.

This this and this. It’s abundantly clear that this happens every window and there is a common denominator

Initial spend is low. Committed the club to £40m worth of right wing back though; not nothing.

Would have like another on top of Danjuma. Not physically, as that would make Danjuma ineffective. But in terms of an additional player, not located directly on top of another player. Just in case that isn't abundantly clear.
That doesn’t stack up for me

Agree with this but with summer windows. There was quality options at CCB and LCB in the summer the club could have tried for. January is a lottery.

Maybe they’ve all had enough of levy too, gone home and just can’t be fucked any more with them like the rest of us!

Presume the only option left now is Zaniolo, as Roma ob want rid as well. Hard to see likes of CH with clubs no time to replace them, all in all highly unlikely anything else happens apart from Porro announcement being saved to appease the masses.

Surely it’s just because we haven’t announced Porro yet so ‘officially’ we’re not done yet. But as soon as he’s announced it will be bed time
