Why can't we just sign Benteke and an exciting wing forward and then just close the gates with a flag draped over saying "we're ready, come get some bitches".

I hate the hanging around. Transfer window should close end of July.

We are going to need a nuclear physicist to encrypt Wishkah's next script

I am, no word of a lie, a nuclear physicist (actually I use atom probe tomography to study atomic changes in the metal from fusion and fusion reactor walls).

However, I can guarantee that my career will be of no use decoding wishkah's messages as the evening wears on.

Wishkah's potential ITK is also going to be awesome as it will mostly likely be a drunken cryptic that he won't remember the next day when we are still baffled. ITKception.

Well if there's a better way of studying atomic changes in the metal from fusion and fusion reactor walls out there, I don't want to know about it.

You know you're screwed when even the nuclear physicist can't help. God help us all when Wishkah gets back online.

I dread to think who would turn up if we invite people to "come get some bitches". Perverts and dog walkers I should think.

Just come back from the Spurs training ground and all i can say is WOW! The place is football heaven. I was lucky enough to have a full tour. When you're there you actually realise the size of the place and how work must have gone into building such an amazing facility.

It's funny BAE was quoted saying he doesn't know Paulinho. Well he will now, as their lockers are next to each other :D .
Starting from the left Paulinho has locker number 1 and BAE is number 2.

I was introduced to Clive Allen's brother Bradley Allen and Ugo Ehiogu, who is now coaching some of our youngsters. We have some really talented players and hopefully the training facilities will give them a better chance of progressing through to our senior team.

The training pitches are numbered in a clockwise order.... as you progress through the years you move closer and closer to the first team pitches. Something for the youngsters to aim towards.

Unfortunately i didn't see any first team players because they had a match yesterday but they have been doing late sessions.

Believe it or not i was told Adebayor has been immense since he returned to training. The word used was "untouchable".
Maybe he'll make up for last season :)

Dawson is the most professional trainer and always gives 100%.
I was told a few other bits but i can't really post on here... I'll pass some stuff on to the mods.

EDIT: i'm not sure what happened to the font

I maintain that a fully fit and motivated Adebayor is a better option than Benteke.

This is the problem.

The Ade of 2011/2012 shits all over the Benteke of 2012/2013 for me.

If there was some guarantee (impossible I know) of Ade showing that form again; I'd rather get a class wide forward in.

Hardly outlandish. I'd say you're correct. Trouble is not being able to be sure which Ade will turn up. If good Ade turns up and then we'll have a frighteningly strong season.

Just to point out, not sure if it has been mentioned or how important it is, but Benteke is one of the players used in the Villa kit launch.

Absolute insane madness for us to be even considering letting him go, and who for as replacement? At 5-6m? Ade I believe excels in the company of better players like when he was at goons, even citeh, and then he had Modric, VDV for starters compaired to Siggy, Dempsey. Come on now.

I think fitness played a huge part in Adebayor's struggles last year. He is one of them fragile characters that let's it play on his mind and affect his game. Obviously, the dicking about at the ACN didn't help..

I agree, however Benteke is a lot younger, and perhaps more importantly, he's someone AVB actually wants.
Good point and hey, it's a rather radical idea for us Spurs fans I know but both in the squad would be great. Ya know, more than one really good striker on the books. It's just crazy enough to work.

If I thought we had any chance of Bernard, I'd say go with a cheaper striker. After David Villa took a dump in our cornflakes the plan changed somewhat. I'd still be delighted with Bentekkers and a Chadli (who I realise is like the mostest shittest player eva!).
