Yeah, but do you really think he'll give a fuck? Really hope I'm wrong, but he consistently shows the wrong attitude / ego.

I'm more concerned he's going to " Do A Berbatov ".

Just because a player's badly out of form doesn't mean he doesn't give a fuck. No-one accuses Soldado of not giving a fuck, but he's contributed no more in practical terms in the league this season. Pavlyuchenko was one of the laziest players I've seen in a Spurs shirt, but a goodly proportion of fans—probably including many of those who boo Ade as a kind of Pavlovian reaction—were singing his name until the end. And I really wish I'd kept a note of those who were gagging for Berbatov to come back a year ago, because he did treat the club, his team-mates and the fans with far more disrespect than Ade ever has.

So Alli will be over 24 when his contract ends and be in the same situation as Fabian Delph and could go on a free?

Would it not have been better to give him a 4.5 year contract so he'd be under 24 and still entitiled to compensation? Long way to go and he could still sign another contract before then but just a thought.

Summary
Lennon's lifestyle is why he is being moved on.
Club did some great business sadly the three amigos played all the clubs all day and are still here, truth re West Ham we wanted them to pay more of Adebarndoors wages then they would and yes more than other clubs.

chose a weird colour for this one, sorry

Given that we weren't looking to bring in a striker today, can't see how Adebayor staying until the summer is anything other than good news. Would certainly back him to score more goals than Soldado if anything happens to Kane. Plus with West Ham only a few points behind us in the league I'd much rather see Carlton Cole in their matchday squad than I would Adebayor.

Still work to do in the summer (i.e. shifting both of Soldado and Adebayor post haste), but we've done the right thing for the rest of THIS season... a season where we still have lots to play for, it should be said.
Would have been mad to get rid of Ade without getting a replacement. If Harry got injured we would be left with just Soldado who just cannot score.

So all that deadwood and only Naughton was sold. mmm same story in the summer I fear...sell before we buy!

That policy isn't much use for a club that constantly fails to sell anyone before deadline day, and then still mostly fail then!

At least we have more cover in the event of an injury crisis. Massive summer required now

In: Yedlin, Alli, (Kane and Mason extensions/improved contracts).

Out: Lennon, Naughton, LOL

A loan or two for the yoots.

Big clear out in the summer and the real work begins for a long, successful future.

I love Ali G's 'Adebarndoor'. He's got nearly 70% of his shots on target this season.

It's the 'ghost' of this nightmare that we all went through that's made me react to the Ade deal the way I have.

I guess we'll all see now how he responds - positive or negative.
