Given that we weren't looking to bring in a striker today, can't see how Adebayor staying until the summer is anything other than good news. Would certainly back him to score more goals than Soldado if anything happens to Kane. Plus with West Ham only a few points behind us in the league I'd much rather see Carlton Cole in their matchday squad than I would Adebayor.

Still work to do in the summer (i.e. shifting both of Soldado and Adebayor post haste), but we've done the right thing for the rest of THIS season... a season where we still have lots to play for, it should be said.

Ade is probably going to be insufferable now. Should've just got rid for the benefit of team / dressing room morale.

Plus, Ade would've put a shift in for the next few games for WHAM helping us indirectly with some points.

WHU are only 4 points behind us. Any he gained for them would go against us, not help us

So in summary ..let me get this straight, we've got rid of a pacey player who could be an outlet in the final minutes as an impact sub to close out games and we strengthen for the run in by buying a player and loaning him back to his selling club for the rest of the season. ..we are three points off third ... what happens if we suffer a few injuries? .. not quite as pissed off as the hellson window. but its close Levy! .. we never learn. ... oh and the icing ...Ade stays! ...
