Not terribly pleased about this... Fingers crossed it's on a loan deal. It'd be interesting to see what happens if he's given a proper run(not saying that should defo be spurs). Having said that, we don't know what goes on at the training ground and maybe all his injury woes have taken there tole.

Sad if Hudd is released...but tbh we have much more important issues to sort out , so for now i won't be jumping off the nearest bridge over this rumour.

Suddenly, massive influx of ITK...

But JJ's words looms large... (1) most of the other ITKs are 1-2 weeks behind news, and JJ (2) JJ said 2 days back nothing doing by end week...

Good news is that wheels are in motion though, that we can and should be transformed come 1 Sep.

Guesses

Ins - carvalho, ade, llorente, moutinho, keeper
Outs - Dawson, Thudd, Bassong, Gomes, Ratface, JD

How does that look?

10 transfers in 15 days!

Blimey it usually takes us 6 weeks of haggling to to one deal.

what would happen if Arsenal went out and bought Llorente with the RVP money. they have not haggled over the deal. said what they wanted or thought what he was worth, got it done and can now spend accordingly,so i cannot believe that we wait until other clubs do business then we get into gear. it is absolute hogwash.

Thinks giroud cazorla and podolski are already for life after RVP. And they (either arsene or the board have an even tighter ass than levy...

Can we all perhaps agree that getting even a low figure (in our opinions) circa £25 mill from Real Madrid is definitely preferable to £35 mill from an EPL side???

mate, in June month we had posters (blinkered ones) absolutely sure Levy will get 35 million plus a player in exchange and nothing less.

Ratface, carvalho, ade, moutinho are probably done or agreed in principle.

Agger goes, Dawson goes.

Bassong Thudd are wanted.

So all that's left are striker, and keepers

you are right that they are tighter. strange how they have the staduim, had the players sold them for large sums and never adequately re-invested.

i know i would be angry ass hell if they went and bought Llorente (if he was available) whilst we haggled about ADE and LD.

i doubt Dawson is going anywhere. we could loan them Caulker for a year. but first sign him up to a new 6 year deal, although he just signed a new 4 year deal recently.

I dont want to start an Arse convo in here so i'll finish with this... Wenger said Poldolski and Giroud are replacements for RVP. So they won't be buying another striker.

You do realise that AVB has said he may name Dawson as our new captain? That's not something you say about a player you are happy to let go.

Also if any of our CBs leave it will be Gallas. Kaboul, Vertonghen, Dawson and Caulker is a fantastic set of CBs, as good as any in the league.

A loan deal for Huddlestone to West Ham would be best, they can have Townsend and Carrol while they are at it

But if it's permanent can't say I'll be too surprised, he didnt really impress me preseason, and AVB likes/needs his midfield 3 to able get up and down the pitch quite quickly

not sure where that leaves VDV though:eek: can only assume his genius and brillance cancels out any negatives

Wouldn't be sorry to see Hudd go to be honest. The one 50yd screamer that he scores a season doesn't really make up for the other 100 shots killing someone in row Z or his lack of mobility.

Doesn't really fit AVBs philosophy and hasn't impressed me under previous managers. If we can squeeze a bit of cash out of the porn monkeys then good stuff I say.

I thought one thing Redknapp got criticised for was loaning out all our back-up players?

I can't see VDV playing in the midfield trio - I think that will be Sandro, Moutinho and Sigurdsson. But I can though see him playing right of the front 3 with Adebayor and Bale.
