I haven't been here for long but I like it here already. Everyone seems to have both their head and heart in the right place so after A&C's post about the lack of donations it felt like the right thing to do. Everyone should do the same! I would have no problem paying a monthly fee of let's say, £1 and yearly that would be more than enough if all of the members did the same. Or am I wrong?

Btw, are the ITK's still asleep or what? I need my daily dose of ITK!

maybe we're turning to these kids in lieu of bernard. Not that they play the exact same position, but young, flair and bags of potential, but also cheaper with less (albeit still some) acclimitising required.

£20 added to the coffers, i couldnt cope without the bi-polar-ness of this site.

Keep it up guys must take a lot of work to keep this show on the road. Some good suggestions so far, a link up with the spurs shop online and a monthly subscription wouldnt be a harmful thing IMO

I think today is the annual ITK away day so they're all on a team bonding exercise in a conference centre in Slough. POTL has done a presentation on how not to use colours too much in your ITK, JJ and BEN have been falling into each other's arms as part of a trust exercise, and Noodles and Peanut are making pictures out of pasta shells.

Akqayid is, presumably, cleaning the toilets.

Is Ben also giving tree climbing lessons?

Adiepf is still waiting in the departure lounge for Karim Benzema!

I believe it was I who first solved the goat's latest cryptic:cool:

Apologies for not giving you credit yesterday when I was saying Goldie got the Michael Jackson - BAD cryptic first. Didn't see you were in there slightly before/same time as him. Given you a winner rating to make up for it and first dibs on my first daughter when she's 18 (y)

Good morning ITK fans. In case you missed it, The solution to the Three Amigos cryptic was posted by The Goat yesterday and can be seen in the RO.
Where to begin? Someone isn't very happy with A&C, this thread, the modding, the banter or pretty much anything actually. Ah well.
What I will say, is that twice I opened threads asking SC how they felt we should roll and twice opinion was pretty much that we stay as we are. There are always going to be issues that bug one person more than another and this thread is never going to be perfect. I guess anyone who hates it that much can vote with their feet. That's about as much as i'm willing to say on yesterday's events as anything else would lead to me breaking SC's rules.
Moving on, the one thing that I did agree with was that it's been quite a while since we filled you in on where donations go.
Outgoings: The server costs £330 per month, which might be rising to £380 soon. Forum software purchases/licenses/misc comes to around £500 a year. So currently, the cost of SC is about £5k a year.
Incomings: Advertising/Affiliates can sometimes cover the costs during the transfer window (January, July, August) but thats sometimes. The rest of the year that falls well short. Its difficult to give an exact figure because the numbers don't stay the same but i'd say £100 a month during the quiet months. Donations during the quiet months come to about £50pm if we're lucky.
Rob will know better than I do, but I reckon we're short by about £2500 a year.
If one month we raise more than is needed, it stays in the pot as it won't be long before it IS needed. The shortfall is made up out of Robs pocket. I'll repeat that.......It comes out of his pocket. Think about that for a minute. I reckon he pays an average of £50 a WEEK.
This is why i'm often cajoling, nudging, outright begging and open to bribery during the transfer window. It's when the most of you are about and our last big donation drive raised enough to cover a months running of the site. Any excess stays in the pot until its needed when donations/income goes right down. Absolutely nothing goes on anything other than SC's running costs.
So while we're on the subject, if you'd like to donate, there's a donation link on the front or home page of the site. We use Paypal but you don't need an aco**** with them, you can use your card in the same way as making any other online purchase. If you want to send a postal order/cheque, please PM myself or Rob.
All donations are very much appreciated. Thanks.

I have just donated 50 pounds. But there is a caveat. I want that money to go to Rob so he can get a luxury suite rather than sitting with the plebes, like us. Although if he wishes, he can spend it on a Lear Jet or a diamond encrusted pimp hat. Don't care as long as it is a big ticket item. I hate to think our supreme leader is stealing us blind for something mundane.

I doubt I will ever hate anybody on here as much as Z**z.
