I just think Levy is playing a very risking game. Most people blamed HR for the lack of transfer dealings..including me! I thought harry's scouting system just involved watching M.O.T.D on a saturday night. However now im starting to believe neither him or Levy can buy a sodding player! I really hope his master plan comes off or i think the fans will start to think the same and in fact its Levy. Plus the fact that unbelievable we're in the same situation as last year. Ill prepared for our first games. No striker,no modric,no parker. But i think its a worse situation as last year we may not of expected much in terms of points from man u and city. However this year!......and then man u and city to come! I just hope you know what your'e doing daniel!

In Levy we trust......just!

Id say chelsea and arsenal are our biggest rivals for 4th!

I would say DL budget is our biggest obstacle to finishing in the top 4

I think he'll come good in the end on the spending, although it may be not a lot of net spend once Modric goes.

I'm really unsure he will. Ade and loan midfielder is my guess, even with Modric gone.

Personally I think we will get Ade and thats about it to be honest guys/girls. Its now getting a bit late & I think Ade will come in with Modric leaving and that will be it!

Oh how we will miss all this when September arrives.

I'll be honest, I can't wait for this to be over. I remember when ITK used to be fun, a glimpse into what the club was working on, and this thread was an opportunity to discuss what impact players could have.

Now it's just a depressing place to visit. Shame, I think it's been ruined by constant updates on progress - its on, it's off, it's done, it's off again. And there are too many people hanging on every morsel of info like its gospel. They are on a rollercoaster of emotion they refuse to get off, but are bitching at the slow bits and screaming at the twists and turns. Sit back and enjoy the ride!

And try not to throw up...

DL's budget has made us one of the financially most sound clubs in the PL, so surely it is the "biggest obstacle to" success

I see verts and sig as king and kranjcar replacements. We're clearly no stronger than last year. I think we're gonna miss modric hugely.....oh and a striker!

Didn't you hear? We're trying to 'trim the squad' and 'get the deadwood off the books'.

The plan is to go into the new season with a team consisting of Gomes, Bentley, Jenas and Gio. Having 11 players is sooo 1888 - 2011.
