You are right in that Daniel 'has' a budget and some of our rivals dont. Yes DL has to watch what he spends very carefully like most in football.

Also it looks like the player we "all" want that includes DL & AVB - are not that easy to get. This is due both to money and our lack of CL football.

I'm not in to emotional outbursts but if we don't sign a striker by Friday DL has some serious questions to answer. There is no HR excuse this time and having appointed a new manager he really has to back him. If we aren't going to pay up for a "worldie" then move on and use the scouting system to take a punt on a younger player like Remy or de Jong (not advocating them specifically). What must be clear to everyone is that we can't start the season with Defoe and Kane.

I see verts and sig as king and kranjcar replacements. We're clearly no stronger than last year. I think we're gonna miss modric hugely.....oh and a striker!

I would rate Sig much high than Kranjcar, and Verts MUCH better than King (The new King..the I've been injured for so many years, I've had to retire). Verts as most CBs will probably never be as good as King, but he's much better than the last version we saw, and I think Sig is going to be one of the signings of the season.. definitely stronger minus Ade.. who I believe we'll get

Obvious one is Saha, I reckon he's holding off signing for another team to see whether Spurs will need him September 1st (remember Free agents can sign outside the window).

Absolutely and the thing is after all the pissing about come sept 1st we will probably only get 1 striker in when we clearly need 2 as we can then save money.

Adebayor will then get injured and we will be stuffed you just can't make it up,but as a lot of people are worried about our situation I must confess that with 4-5 days before our first game we are in a shitty state and that's a fucking disgrace someone somewhere needs to be accountable for this mess just a joke.

That wouldn't be a satisfactory set of answers. Quite frankly there will be no acceptable answers if we go into our first game with Defoe and Kane. That would be spectacular incompetence.

Well i like your optimism but the fact they haven't even played a proper game for us yet only time will tell. I believe they make our squad stronger! Im not even sure sig will be first choice when modric's replacement comes in....if we get one! Our problems were not at the back as we were always gonna leak goals with the way harry played. But the problem was hitting the bloody net! Controlling games without killing it off. So with no new strikers and no lennon cover...and no modric i cant see how we are stronger!
